I love registering for new classes at school. Picking them out is so much more fun than actually going to them once they start. I just got finished registering. Have you registered yet and what are you taking? I am taking: -Principles of Biology (a Junior who is a science major taking a beginning biology class, sad I know...) -Physical Geography -Aikido -Stretch and Relaxation Technique -Theories of Ethics -Environmental Politics -Philosophy of Sex and Love
oh my gosh...what a fantastic line up chrissy. i am happy to see you are trying out aikido tell me how you like it.
Yeah, I have been trying to continue with fencing but the classes are always conflicting with classes I need to take. So I decided I'd try out Aikido. Rob says that I'll like it because it is a purely defensive art. Which is good for me since I am the least agressive person on earth. My fencing instructor was always freaking out on me because I could defend myself but would never attack.
i got a whole bunch of core classes next semester i have to take, so picking them was probably as fun as actually going to them...but next year will be fun, i get tons of electives, yay! you got some cool classes lined up
i'm with ya. i always liked signing up for the classes way better than taking them. sort of like most everything else in life, huh? way better in theory than in practice.
Those are some awesome classes, Chrissy. You're lucky -- I don't get to register till tomorrow! (wed) Plus I changed me major (AGAIN) cause I am the most indecisive person in the entire world.. so now I'm doing NRPI. Have you taken Botany yet? I don't want to take that.. I'm putting it off. This is what I'm gonna sign up for: Natural Resource Conservation Public Land Use Policy Managemet Fundamentals of Chemistry w/ Lab Social Psychology
Next semester I'm taking: Drawing I American Literature II World Civ Since 1500 Elementary Spanish II
Well, I have only signed up for 12 credit hours so far... I'm gonna sign up for more -Honors Linear Algebra -Logic -Philosophy of Mathematics -Computer Science/ Java Programming and one more... I haven't decided yet.
I am taking Botany right now. It is pretty hard and I am barely passing. A lot of people have trouble with it. The lecture exams aren't very hard, but the lab exams are another story.... good luck with it! Natural Resource Conservation is an awesome class! I am taking it right now and it is so much fun, the teacher is hilarious. It's pretty easy too.
i registered two days ago... im taking college algebra, health101 (required course that's been filled every time before now), environmental biology and i still have one more i gotta pick and add later. i love signing up for new classes and taking them (at least in the beginning, until they start to bore the hell outta me) oh and three more classes after that and ill finally have my associattes and be able to transfer! yay!
nice schedule! I am jealous mine are -advanced spanish, american contemporary lit and two others I haven't decided on yet that are electives hopefully art classes if there are any open. I am on a weird thing with my school that will take too long to explain so I get the last possible regestration date.
health rocks we learned about std's and walked around the track-which is right near where the parking lot was at jc...
I've got: Advanced Digital Circuits and Lab Advanced Circuit Analysis Microprocessors and Lab Electronic Circuits and Lab Calculus II *sucks teeth* Yeah, I'm excited about that shit and what is Aikido? sounds like fighting my school sucks
calculus for multiple variables part 2, which im dreading cuz i took part 1 3 years ago computer networking software engineering ummm, 2 others i cant really remember i cant wait till next term is done, since school will be for me as well
I'm doing a joint degree, which means that I have two majors (anthropology and development studies), so I don't get to choose any electives. It kinda sucks, but then again... I have so much work with both the majors. Anyhoo... next term I'll be taking: Race, Ethnicity and Nationalism Issues in Development Ethnography in a Regional Context Ethnographic Methods It all seems really interesting and I am excited, but I know it's gonna be so much work... Ahh well.
