I started studying Paganism about a year ago. I've only recently realized that I'm Agnostic. My beliefs haven't changed, I just only recently was able to listen to what actually seemed true to me rather than try to fit my beliefs into someone else's truth. I also don't believe that this divine being is all that concerned with humanity, at least any more than anything else. I don't think praying or offerings do anything to get us what we want. We only get what we work for. I'm just wondering if there are any others like me out there that can give me some insight into their spiritual lives. I know how other Pagans practice, but they are very big on god/dess worship and relationship, I just have no use for that. And so far all the books/websites I've read are for those that worship god/esses. Personal info or other sources would be greatly appreciated.
That's the most honest thing a person serious about spirituality can say. You sound like your on the right path. No one knows for a fact what the higher powers are. My path is what I call rational spirituality. There's something real on a spiritual realm that I dont know what it is but I know it when I see it. And Pagans make me think of early human practicing spirituality in its raw, basic, and natural form. Many examples such as nature and sacrifice rituals that supercede time and cultural influences.
I consider myself kind of an agnostic. However, I have a lot of Pagan tendencies. I just don't put a label on what I believe anymore. Just live the way that suits you and pray to whoever you want.
we all come from the earth, and in the end we return to her, in between is each persons own personal spiritual path, the path that is right for you, whether it be pagan, wicca,or any of the moden religions, as long as your true to yourself then your not wrong.
