Yup. It's the best way I can think of to say it. So there it is. This is my first day posting on the forum. I ran into it a few weeks ago when Googling *something* but forget what that was. I am 53 years "young" and came of age in the mid 60s and early 70s. Great times, and good memories. Frisbee at Griffith Park in Hollywood, love-ins at Seal Beach, protesting the war, campagining for McGovern, hitch-hiking to Hermosa Beach and playing guitar. I might be in Maine now, but my heart will always be in California. The hippie roots are near impossible to give up completely. I mean, it's who I am, and what all those years made me. I refuse to let that side of me go, or to hide it from those I find myself around day in and day out. I work with scientists, who make test sticks/plates to test for genetically modified foods. The countries that want GM get assured that it is, and those that don't get that assurance too. In my spare time I play a game called The Sims2. My family is from a long line of builders - and that's the aspect of the game I enjoy. Building "atomic" ranch homes, and sharing them with others to have in their game. Other than that, I've been blissfully shacking up with Mr. Wonderful for 16 years (we don't need no piece of paper from the city hall, keeping us tied and true...") and we have two cats we adore. Buddy and Honey. And, that's me. And that's how I blab about stuff.
