Age?

how old were some of you when you first did LSD and how old do you think the minimum age for it should be? does it make any difference??

I think a person should wait until he/she is old enough to join the service (military), and drop mad hits instead.

Age isn't important. You just need to be ready.

 

Actually, Funny story. My friends sister gave her brother acid for his 10th birthday. I shit you not. Pretty fucking insane.

 

Yeah, that's pretty fucking insane. Funny? Not.

 

Age does matter.
Even the Shlugin's suggest the right time is when you know who you are, how secure and balance you are etc...at the time of taking your first trip. This state usually happens when your 17 and older. Still there are folks in the late 20's that are not ready for it.

Otherwise your just rolling the dice. You never are gonna know which direction it can lead you to if your not truly ready.

i was 15

 

i was 13. it was incredebly powerful for me at that time, but i dont know that id recommend dropping at that age. i had a harder time conecting with my peers throughout middle school, than i feel i would have, had i not been tripping those years. im grateful for the early years though, much was learned and my expiriences turned me onto my spiritual path early on.

 

ill be a day on 16, but for shrooms if that matters much

 

19, tried about 5 times, first real trip not to long ago actually (in forum )

14, but it was like 2 weeks before my 15th birthday. I know I was ready to. Different ppl are ready at different ages. You cant set a specific age for that kind of thing. It totally depends on the person.

 

16, I like it a lot more at 18.

 

Yeah that is true I think, I definitely believe it.. Because your trips are just expanding what is in your mind, and your security, balance, thoughts, emotions, are not developed before a certain age.
Also, your brain is still developing until you're in your 20's.

I was 18 when I first did acid, 17 when I first did shrooms which was my first trip.

I'm really amazed that a lot of you were 13 or 14 or 15 when you first tripped, that just doesn't seem good for the brain at such a young age.

age has nothing to do with L.. its more about maturity and being able to handle hard situations.. for example i might not have been quite ready when i first did it.. i got into an argument with a friend (who was really high, but not on L) and i was about to kill him b/c he just wouldnt shut up
