Age Restriction?...

I don't know bout yall (actually do for some cuz of comments made) but I don't find it odd for a young-in to smoke. As long as he is raised maturely and not like the average person that doesn't become mature till late teens. I mean the way children have been raised today and for a long time is pretty retarded. Those tribes that marry off there kids at age 12 arent barbaric cuz of it, its just that their children are mature enough to understand the concept of love and partnership at a much earlyier age.

If kids were raised closer to nature and not in such a fake world then society would be a much different place than it is now. I mean I wouldn't have a problem with a 2 year old smokin if it was from a vaporizer, that way it is not bad for him at all. I mean look at the studies of pregnant smokers, how is raising the THC level in a fetus gunna hurt it? So it feels better while in the womb, so the fuck what. People are to uptight about marijuana, even experienced smokers. I think cannabis is a life enhancing plant. All ya got to do is live when ur high instead of bein lazy, prioritize your life.

I started smoking at 12... am 20 now and I wish I started when I was 16... It caused me SO much hell when I was younger between gettin caught by cops and my parents consistently it was no fun. But as I got older and proved to myself and my parents that I could blaze as much as anyone and still hold down my responsibilities, things got easier. But I have to say I really do wish I was older to start blazing.

 

Why the hell would you give a 2 year old hits from a vaporizer...I mean I understand the concept of what your saying but its unnecessary to go that far. Even if thc levels may not be linked to birth defects I'm pretty sure the fetus isn't feeling good from the marijuana injested into the body. If you know about pregnancies you need to be extremely healthy because wrong levels of nutrients for newborns is the main reason for retardation. I just dont think its necessary for people under 12 to smoke. Whats the point of rushing them at a younger age? You know for a fact the brain needs to develop....its not like your going to give a child coke and acid so whats the point of giving them weed? Bad parenting skills if anything. Im not downing on you though just that children shouldnt be exposed to drugs at that age....even if it would make them more mature lol

I refrained from smoking pot for 2 years while I was pregnant for 9 months, and breastfeeding for 12. That was the LEAST I could do for my child.

 

Have any of you actually seen a youngin smoke? My friends little sister is 12 and she's been smoking since she was 10. She's gotten drunk and done acid. She's always begging for a cigarette or lighter. I don't care if she's always beggin for a cig or a lighter, but smoking pot and cigarettes... it's just fucking wrong. My friend really fucked up when he smoked pot everyday all day. He got arrested and got put away for 6 six months. Now he's done smoking and his little sister is going in that same direction at a faster rate and at a much younger age. Marijuana is something you yourself are supposed to discover with friends when your 15 or 16, not have parents or siblings introduce it to you when your 13 or younger.

 

Pot doesn't stunt growth or cause mental retardation. I know someone who smoked through all of her pregnancies and her children are smart and normal. Not only are they normal they're also creative and artistic.

Children should not be forced to smoke at a young age, but if they show the interest and maturity, I say, why not?

 

Also, the only reason Shaman420 got into so much trouble with pot was because of the law. Not because he was too young.

I understand what he was saying... wait until you're older to do something illegal so you're properly prepared for the consequences.

Sorry, I love herb, but I just can't agree with you. Kids shouldn't be smoking at a young age at all. I don't know if it would nessecarily be bad for them, but I know it wouldn't help them at all. Marijuana deserves respect, you need to know what your getting into, your brain isn't fully developed until around 18. Most people don't need something else to deal with at a young age. Most young kids just can't handle the experience, or the resposiblity it entails. Let kids be kids while they can, and don't encorage them to smoke unless it's medicinal use. Oh, and don't even get me started on other drugs, even alcohol.

 

Wow, if you give pot to your 2 year old child some day I hope DCF comes and takes your kids away. Marijuana is a DRUG people, it might be a rather harmless drug in the big picture, but it's still a DRUG.

 

I understand what you're saying about letting kids be kids. I'm just saying there shouldn't be an age limit, that's all. Kids and parents should both agree on when they're ready.

 

No, I don't believe in a legal age limit either. My common sense just tells me it not good for someone under 14 to be using marijuana.

 

I'm from Nashville dude. and for those sayin stuff about it messin up peoples lives at such a young age, i stress again the maturity I was talking about. The commune I am moving to have second generation vegetarian children and they were raised completley surrounded by nature and mature parents. I mean if you think about it, a huge percentage of the population never really grows up, adults act like children all the time from having tantrums of anger to un-thought out childish decisions. I'm talking about children who were raised maturely and not with the usual parent child raising child scenario. I mean, i was raised that way so I didn't find my own path tlill i was 16-17. These children at this commune are like so unique and raised to be themselves instead of by a forcing society, they I have no doubt are mature enough to smoke and do.
