    They talk about Biden's age being a problem? I don't know. It seems Republicans are always looking for an excuse. They impeached Clinton for lying about sex. They impeached President Andrew Johnson in 1868 for violating the Tenure of Office Act by removing Edwin Stanton and replacing him with Lorenzo Thomas as secretary of war. "Ad interim". I'm not a fan of Andrew Johnson. I'm just saying.

    Biden is the oldest person to take the office of president. Donald Trump is the next oldest followed by Ronald Reagan, Dwight Eisenhower and Andrew Jackson.

    Also. People noticed everywhere Reagan went, a man followed him around with a box. It was later revealed the box was for the nuclear codes. Reagan could launch them at any moment. But he would never do that. He probably didn't even remember them. Plus he was too busy playing with the squirrels.

    The Commander-in-Chief should be subject to the same standard upper age limit as his subordinate generals, and here are enough people below that age limit, especially in such a populous country. To keep things simple, only those should be eligible who will be below that age limit on the last day of their four-year term.

    U.S. Constitution, Article II, Section 1, Clause 5:

    No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.

    Article II, Section 2, Clause 1:

    The President shall be Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy of the United States, and of the Militia of the several States, when called into the actual Service of the United States;

    10 USC 1253:

    (a) General Rule. – Unless retired or separated earlier, each regular commissioned officer of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, or Space Force serving in a general or flag officer grade shall be retired on the first day of the month following the month in which the officer becomes 64 years of age.

    The commanders who lead the nation’s military services and those who oversee troops around the world enjoy an array of perquisites befitting a billionaire, including executive jets, palatial homes, drivers, security guards and aides to carry their bags, press their uniforms and track their schedules in 10-minute increments. Their food is prepared by gourmet chefs. If they want music with their dinner parties, their staff can summon a string quartet or a choir. The elite regional commanders who preside over large swaths of the planet don’t have to settle for Gulfstream V jets. They each have a C-40, the military equivalent of a Boeing 737, some of which are configured with beds.

    I never thought we would have such old Presidents. Kennedy was young. Reagan was old and feeble at the end of his term.

    Absolutely there should be an age limit, imo. 70 is a good age to retire now.
