Its different than the 60s revolution to me, i dont know all these people are all like funky with patchworks, i remember 7-8 years ago there wasnt any young people doing things like that, now theres all dready patchworks hangin out at the coffee shop downtown, and their poppin up everywhere.. when i grew my hair out i was trying to be different, now its different to have short hair.. I dont know, life has such rich formations

Stereotypes circulate. The war brings back thought of the hippie movement, and here you have a bunch of kids who are pretty much in it for the drugs.

But do you honestly think that the 60s were different? That everyone was a free spirit and all of that shit.

No, kids did it because it was the thing to do.

yeah i think the 60s were similar in that way.. But i was jsut saying that the 60s were more like flower powerish and groovy.. Now its just grown of something else all together..

Although i think the trend rising now is to be the consious individual, that hippie eco-ideology.. mindfulness...

Im just trippin out on all this, and new aspects of life..

I can't remember NOT seeing at least a random tie dye or "hippie look" in my life.

and I'm sick of patchy clothes. I see an occasional design where the maker put some thought in, but most of it looks like Gypysy rose catalog.
There seems to be one local mama making interesting color and applique work.

what heartens me is more people working to end the war localy.
I don't care how you dress, as long as the goals line up somewhat.

There are about a million people in my town who wear tie-dye shirts and hemp jewelry, but it doesn't make them hippies. It's really not that great when teenagers think they're revolutionary because they smoke weed. I wish more people actually cared about what's going on in the world.

Yeah i know most the long hair kids are like, whiskey and lucky strikes and rolling stones 24/7.. gettin pissed isnt doin that much... theres some protests rising in the town too, i saw a bunch of young people with signs and stuff.. there was a little bit of that up north in sandpoint, but CDA lost that.. its coming back but in a wierd way.. its heading that way it seems..

there isnt any superficialities with me, im talking realities..

Its just crazy dreads with ecstacy and scionesins, the hundreds of them crankin out the acid..

    its crazy to me..

At least they've got something going on besides violent video games and porn. Let's bash the Amerikan death trip with its cars and lawnmowers and wars and Las Vegas unconciousness. Let the hippies do their thing. Their mistakes are not on the same level as the real villains.

If enough people get together with the right frame of mind, we can change the world. For the better.

I can't really call myself a hippie, though I've always had respect for them. I keep my hair short, I'm not that into the whole love thing, and I don't really think the world's gonna work in harmony, as long as humans are there to fuck shit up.

But I do think we can do shit better. And it aggravates me. I dunno... I've been thinking of revolution, but I don't know how it's gonna be pulled off. I, for one, am going to try, though. Do my part, at least...

Well, I dunno. I guess I'm just rambling now...

Planning on giving it a try soon...

Mostly stick to shrooms, myself. And, of course, MJ.

Ya... for what I've seen in the states, it's everywhere. I have had to many kids that shouldn't be doing pschedelics yet to guide their trips.

America is escaping reality more and more everyday.
