Stop using that stupid term, people have fucking names, use them.

 

why do we call them african when most of them have never even been to africa?

 

maybe because there saying where there main race comes from

just so we whould know exactly where they came from

there all like "this is exactly where this race came from"

i dont know sounds kind of racist to me

Actually I'm a bit confused when I see that the mostly used argument, when you ask someone "why obama", is that he's the first black guy in the White House. Is that the most important?

 

Hah, Ive been asking people this for the past few weeks, not many gave a sensible answer. Of course its not most important

Anyway he has pale skinned family. You cant put people into your stupid boxes, hes not African American hes a guy and hes now president

My ancestor is traced back to the U.K. am I a British American but my moms side was from Scandinavia, so I am a British Scandinavian American?

My kids get pissed off if anybody calls them "black" or "white". I think it's sweet how they defend their biracialness

 

There is nothing wrong with acknowledging the first black president. Jeez. Why ignore it? It's a milestone.



The only black people I know are from Jamaica and Trinidad, so I do think saying "African American" is weird.
