Basically yeah. I want do one. I've done research online and got the basic idea down. I think I'm looking for info from someone who has done one? How deep do I need to poke? Thank you! Peace~
What's stick 'n poke? Is that like when you do your own tattoo? I've never had any tattoos .. I've thought about it and I've thought of cool stuff to have, but I worry ... what if I get something, then really, really regret it ... I mean, some of the stuff I thought was cool when I was 16-17 or whatever ... would be embarrassing now a little rose somewhere would be nice I think...
Yeah it's when you do it with a sewing needle and ink at home. I already did mine. couldn't wait lol. I was just like you but I realised what I wanted. I'm happy. took me years to finally do one. it's only like an inch big tho. no biggie.
I also used BIC pen ink. I read online that eventually the pen ink will fade. I read it's similar to writing on paper and soaking it in water. The same thing is going on with your skin and the pen ink. I ordered tattoo ink off amazon and will go over it. Should be permanent after that. You know, a lot of people do Stick and Poke tat's because they are too young to see a professional. I'm of age, I do it because I think it's so much better than having someone else draw on me haha. As long as it's not complicated images I'll do it myself.
Ah-ha.. I think I'd be a bit afraid of hygiene stuff.. sticking pins or whatever in yourself :sick2: I thought I was brave when my friend pierced my ears when I was little...tee hee! something more professional one day maybe? :sunny:
Yeah.. stick and poke tattoos may seem like a great alternative to getting tattoos at a shop but in all reality it might be better to just get it done at a proper sterilized shop. Running a needle through a flame or even with rubbing alcohol isn't properly sterilizing it and some inks can be very toxic. I got my tattoos done with quill ink and I had a reaction to it. Just be very wary.. and make sure to keep your tattoo clean.
