I'm not sure if this is supposed to be in this forum, but it seems the most appropriate. I was wondering if there's any other actors on these forums. I have been acting since I was a baby. I used to do commercials when I was really young and did a bunch of baby and toddler modelling. As I aged, I found less modelling work and got into theatre. I've taken a few classes, but mostly have done my acting on my own terms. I've been in many, many productions, but my greatest accomplishment was attending a Sears drama festival and recieving a Best Actress award. Right now, I'm attending university but I would love to get into the world of professional acting especially in films. But that's a dream that may or may not come true. So, who else is out there? What have you done? What will you do?
hey wow yeah it's good you posted on here. not many actors post i reckon. they're probably all being sociable and shmoozing with people or something! Which uni do you go to? Have you just done stage work or have you done other stuff too? musicals?
No no no! Musicals are the devil! Don't get me wrong, I love to watch a musical, perhaps even hum along, but even suggest me getting up on stage and singing, you might as well stab yourself in the ear drums first. I have no talent, singing-wise. However, I've been in many bands and have written sooooo many songs. I just can't sing 'em! I've performed onstage with piano, trombone, clarinet, guitar, I once did a stand-up comic routine (I love comedy) and did dance recitals for most of my childhood. However, it's acting that calls to me. In the immortal words of Marilyn: "I just want to be wonderful." Edit: I go to Trent U.
