I had been meaning to go see across the universe ever since it came out, but i didn’t get around to it until a few weeks ago.

As a Stoner, and a really big fan of Musicals, i would have to say it is one of the best on or off screen performances ive ever seen.
For those of you who don’t already know, its a really really trippy musical made entirely of Beatles songs.
If you haven’t seen it, go see it. If you have seen it, tell me what you thought about it.

Here's one of my favorite songs

This movie is easily one of my all time favorites. I enjoyed the music, acting, and story. It was very well made.

I wouldn't say it was that trippy though, there were only a couple scenes that really had me going. (the bus and the circus)

But I agree that this movie will please stoners.

"I Want you" and "strawberry fields forever" were pretty trippy.

THe one thing that i thought was bad ass was that in most musicals, they create a story line, and then write songs to go with it. but in this, they took a bunch of old songs, and wrote a story to go with them.

Nahh, HAIR(not to be confused with hairspray) was also a hippy, love and peace based musical.

I heard that the same people that made Across the Universe are going to make a similar film incorporating Rolling Stones music titled Ruby Tuesday. Im hype for that

I loved it! It was so historically accurate and featured my heroes Kesey and the pranksters. Yay! Jude wasn't so bad looking...

I absolutely loved it as well! I enjoyed the numerous parodies and cameos. Nothing beats the Beatles!! <3
