acid vs. shrooms

what would you say is more intense. I mean if you take an amount of one of them more than the other of course it'll be more intense but lets say a normal first time amount of each.

 

I've seen this type thread quite a few times, but what to hell, here we again

acid is made up of man-made chemicals.

shrooms are a natural occurence.
its obvious that the man made one is stronger and more detrimental to your body.

 

actually i think that if you did a little research you would find that LSD is a chemical and so is psilocybin. the only real difference is that humans created one and god or the universe created the other. but if you really stop to think about it god or the universe created us in a way that we could create things so LSD was actually created by the same force. believe it or not the amount of LSD that you take is such a small amount that there is no 'detrimental' effect to your body. i am pretty sure that you need more psilocybin to produce the effect and mushrooms are well known for being harder on the stomach.

as for which is more intense... they can both be very intense in different ways.

LSD is one of the most inert substances known to man

It's not detrimental at all to the human body or mind (in regards to neurotoxicity), it's one of the most studied substances ever to leak into popular culture.

People should not claim fact from pure conjecture. Do your research before you make a claim like that.

 

i prefer lsd over shrooms...but ever since lsd i've never touched shrooms again. i used to loooove shrooms--i thought it the "ultimate" spiritual high--but the gut rott was horrible. lsd was perfect-no physical side effects and the mystical experience doesn't even compare!!! lsd all the way for me!

 

Not necessary, shrooms are a posion after all and cid is more of a mind drug than a body drug. I have never had a bad experience with cid but have had plenty on shrooms, I think I might even have nerve damage from them.

But I vote for cid b/c of the intense visuals and ease of concealing.

 

acoording to erowid psilocybin is most likely non toxic

so unless someone gave you some strange breed of mushroom there is no way they gave you nerve damage that being said acid is also highly non-toxic

 

They are both OK, but if you would like to know what is intense, try DMT, and if it is still not enough intense, than take all 3 together.
If you are missing intensity still, add a good line of Kethamine (10cm long, 5mm wide)after all that. That is what I would call pretty good intensity hahaha

 

First of all, this is false information. Magic mushrooms are a poison in the same sense that water is a poison if you take too much. Second, it is physically impossible to consume enough magic mushrooms for them to become toxic to kill you.
Everything is a poison when too much is put to your system.

 

Why not through some peyote buttons in there while your at it?
And a few E pills for good measure?

 

well if you take a tab of acid or an 8th of shrooms the shrooms will be alot more stronger visually. the acid on the other hand is very psychological ...so depends what you mean by stronger.

That's a statement based on your subjective experience with the drug. Acid isnt universally potent. Different batches vary. Ive had blotter where one hit fucked me up beyond words...an 8th of shrooms doesnt even touch family fluff...and yes, even one hit. Visually, acid has always been WAY more intense than shrooms. Mushrooms seem to augment prexisting patterns, like on the ceiling or the carpet; LSD visuals are much more interactive in that it goes along to your trip...once youve dosed enough you can conjure the images just by willing them to be. I see faces of people, crazy landscapes, all so vivid and realistic. Shrooms are just swirling patterns of colors and lights. The patterns are much more chaotic. Not to mention all the crazy themes and mind fuck that lsd provides. I can close my eyes on acid and get transported to a completely different realm of existence. Ive eaten a quarter of good shrooms and while it was intense (WAY too intense) the LSD was just as intense...just more enjoyable, so i didnt measure it in intensity, i measured the fun factor.

Think about the 60's when people were taking orange sunshine and windowpain...my dad told me he would never dare take more than one of 60's dose. In acid dreams it said most of the acid back then was at least 250 mics per hit...sometimes ALOT more. 250 mics is exponentially more intense in all aspects when compared to an 8th of shrooms. I quote him..."We always considered shrooms just another means of getting fucked up; acid is on another level entirely."

I know people react differently to drugs, but that only holds true to the acid that you have done, maybe you just havent gotten your hands on potent enough blotter?

 

hmm yes...im definately a fan of diving into the psychedelic experience head first and pushing the limit with how deep i can go...but i, myself, definately wouldnt have the balls to mix DMT with any of those...let alone the line of K. Ive heard some crazy stories about DMT. Ide love to try it, but i can see that being way too intense for most people. Why the fuck not though. If you can handle it than go for it. That's the true definition of ego death.

 

LSD visuals for me, typically consist of distortion of material objects, perception of atom activity (3rd eye) and general dancing on the ceiling imagery. Other than that I just feel very high and close to God. This even on very high doses. The last trip I had I looked down at my arm while on the phone and I had no skin, I could see the blood flowing through my veins and I was watching the sparks of nerve activity shoot into my fingers and back up my arm with every twicth my hand made. Also, earlier in the shower, as it started coming on the tiles immediatley started warping and the water was interesting :tongue: This was on 8 hits by the way, of powerful stuff that another member here can vouch for if they chose to.

But with magic mushrooms? In my case, even on as little as 3 grams, the visuals are WAY more intense and much more spiritual. About 3 mushroom trips ago, I ate an eigth on the front porch of an old friends house, everyone else ate an eigth as well. I bought them off some crazy ex girlfriend of mine who always gets great psychedelics. Anyway, this was about 20 minutes after chewing them down, and everyone was laughing and having fun. I got the introverted, oh shit feeling seepign in, and as I blinked my eyes and opened them, I was completey surrounded by millions of people, a sea of people, and around all of us was forestry and the clouds were dark gray. One of the people, a girl, was standing right in front of me and holding a cup to my lips and everyone started begging me to drink from it. I blinked again and I was back on the porch. This was the beginning of that trip, I dont even want to go into details of the rest of it :tongue: But everyone else present had a great time laughing and being high, while i was sitting quietly holding on for dear life as wave after wave of pure communion and astral visits crashed into my consciousness. -

 

I enjoy LSD way more than mushrooms! Even though I only have limited experience with both (one acid trip and two mushroom trips), I love acid and only like mushrooms. My acid trip (1.5 hits of blotter) was life-changing and for about a month after it I felt incredible. The two mushroom trips (1/2 eighth each time) just gave me horrendous headaches afterwards! I would definitely prefer to trip on acid than on mushrooms. That's just my opinion!

 

Is it intense (DMT)? - Yes
Do we like it? - YEEEESSSSS!!!

You see, if you never had a mind blowing trip with LSD or Shrooms, than yes, it can be pretty difficult to handle DMT, but if you like hard doses (500ugs or more) of LSD, than you will looooovvvee DMT. It is opening new horizons, and after it, LSD will never be the same to you, even a small doses. It just teach you "new way" of looking at "things" and you start having DMT kind of trips on LSD, only they are not on fast forward, they are now nice and slow and you have sooooo much time to analyze everything. It is like going deeper down the rabbit hole. Sudenly so many things are so logcal and clear to you and they were such a puzles before. When you get there, there is nothing witch can be too hectic for you any more, and when I wrote before what I call intensity, I was not joking, that is what I like, to mix all those things and belive me, it is so beautifull and profound every time. Bare in mind that I never had a bad trip still. I did see people who tried to follow me on that jorney to flip out and go through slight hell, but it is them who did that to them self, not the mixture. If you don't know who you are in normal life, how will you know in that "madness". I don't mind being turned inside out like a sock, because I know witch sock I am hahaha, but for somebody it can be hell.
