Ok a lot of people say that acid can't actually kill you. Like you can't overdose or whatever. But with the way my head feels today I'm convinced that my brain was taking SERIOUS damage while under the influence. Hallucenating put my brain under SO much stress that I now feel completely fried. The brain is not desigined to handle such activity. I can't possibly see how how I didn't suffer a stroke or something. Acid is just plain scary.

if you took it last night, how can you expect to feel fine the next day?

dude your just paranoid...give it two days and you'll be 100% fine again...you did not get a stroke or anything, just sit down, chill out , listen to some music and let yourself come down slowly.

Well what I mean is that I reckon my brain feels screwed not because of the drugs in my system, but because of the duress my mind experienced while under the influence. I know I'll be fine in a day or two but at the moment my brain just feels exhausted. Scary stuff.

If it was acid you took, your brain will be just fine, as will your body. The mind is another matter. If you can't handle it, forget it.

if you didnt have a seizure, youre not pushing the limits of brain activity hard enough. dont worry about it

It's the same thing your body goes through after a cardio workout. It exhausts your energy, but has lots of benefits. Except it's your mind instead of your body. Your mind has experienced something new and just has to adjust to it. The same thing happened to me when I first tripped on acid.

You could take thousands and thousands and THOUSANDS of doses of LSD all at once and not die.

LSD cannot kill you. But it's concievable that you could die from fright while under the influence of LSD. Maybe have a heart attack because you are so scared.

Yeah that's exactly what I mean. I know the drug itself poses no physical threat to my body but the mind is a fragile thing. I was enjoying myself for quite a long time before things got nasty The fear of whether the hallucenations would ever leave was what was so frightening. This I believe could kill someone or at least cause serious, permanent damage to a person's character.

I wonder if Franklin D. Roosevelt was referring to bad trips when he said "The only thing we have to fear is fear itself". Because it definitely applies.

Dunno whether it's true or just urban myth, but I've heard of a person who died due to an excessive LSD overdose. 320mg I.V. ;-) But I can't hardly imagine even seeing 320MG of LSD together ;-)

That's thousands upon thousands of hits of LSD. I would freak the fuck out. That would be a helluva way to die, though.

have you ever taken niacinamide (a form of vitamin B3) to help your head get back together from tripping?

Nah, I have very limited experience with LSD, and I just had to recover naturally. And the "recovery" from shroomin is great, just glowing for hours afterwards. Those are pretty much the only psychs I've had significant experiences with. When I finally get my hands on some more LSD I'll have to try some niacin, though. I hear good things.

if you set up 50ug as the basic dose, it's

    50ug x 2 x 10 x 320 ... so it's approximately 6400hits of lsd ;-)

However I've also heard a story bout folks who confused coke with acid & insufflated 100mg each and survived it without brain dmg or somethin'

    1mg is 1,000ugs!

(did you mix ug and ng?)

    Btw:
during the 60s and 70s there´ve been lots of experiments with animals to find out, if there´s a lethal dose for LSD.
I can remember a report about an experiment, where an elephant was killed after an injection of 2 grams (!) of LSD. What a waste of life! (and material...)
