Acceptal in public?

I've been meaning to make a thread about this, but it keeps slipping my mind. Why is it that picking your ear is generally an "ok" thing to do in public, but picking your nose isn't? It can be as equally gross.

 

Weird, I was thinking the exact same thing earlier today...So yeah I can't answer your question.

 

erm, I think ear-picking in public is gross too. I mean, I understand scratching the outside of your ear but don't actually jam your finger in their while in public please! Blowing your nose in public grosses me out too though (can't you find a washroom, icky)

I'm just weird about bodily functions I guess.

 

Maybe it's because you can't blow green shit out of your ear.
