Does anyone else in here just melt when they here an accent? I mean when i hear a female with an accent I'm so interested in meeting her. I love accents.It doesn't matter if it's a geographical accent like a southern or a northern accent, or if it's because they haven't learned english well. Well, as long as they don't sound the same as most people I hang with I'm all over them. Maybe I'm just wierd! But I can't help myself. Anyone else attracted to people with accents?
Well, American chics that are cultured and speak without an accent are a definite plus. French canadian accents are sexy, french, australian, and some english girls sound hot. Some brit girls sound weird though, like kinda prim and proper-can't do anything wrong-babysitterish. And occasionally, I will meet a southern bell type girl who has the right mix of that southern twang and it just makes me melt.
me too. There is a distinct difference in Sourthern accents and dialects. The more elegant are considered to be the Georgia and carolina accent, which feature some drawn out syllables and a generally slow, rambling manner of speech, but the words are still very articulate and recognizable. Some accents are placed differently in longer words, but you still understand. Then you have "'at regular suthen tawlk" with many slang words considered by most to be a little unrefined and redneckish. They speak slowly and ramble, and tend to use some strange metaphors involving rodents, dogs, and scavenging birds, that just don't equivocate to the rest of us Americans. Then there is hick talk, stemming from the foothills and mountains. That is a totally different dialect of English.
Certain accents do turn me on. I can't list all of the accents that do so, but I do love sexy British accents
I like accents too. British accent is lovely, but my favourite one would have to be Irish. Australian accent is pretty funky too, especially when it's coming from a cute surfer boy... I wish my accent would sound more like British... But unfortunately it's a mix of British, Finnish and for some weird reason, Italian. I've heard from so many people that I sound like an Italian when I speak English. It's hilarious.

A british accent on a lady is really hot....When I hear a guy with a British accent I want to put duct tape over his mouth. British accents are way too feminine for a guy.

ok i dont get when u guys say a british accent?? u mean like hugh grant style??? i fuckin hate how he speaks it annoys me!!!! im british im from south england and i talk nuthin like hugh grant more slang and sloppy english really oh and i can understand when u say british accents are feminine if u mean like hugh grant lol but the manc, cockney, devonshire, cornish, yorkshire, geordie, scouse,welsh, glaswegian, edinbronian, irish accents arent im devonshire btw but i sound a bit cornish oh and to the question yeah i do find accents on girls sexy, well some accents not all i especially like welsh, geordie and australian accents
Most Bristish accents are not feminine and if you ever come here be very careful where you say things like that, cos we don't all talk like Prince William and your liable to get a smack in the mouth. Welsh, Irish, and Northern English accents are sexy i think,as are most Europaen accents, have yet to come across an attractive American accent yet though Sorry.
Yeah, it was Hugh Grant I had in mind when I said that. I can't stand it when he opens his mouth. I want to smack that punk. I'd really like to see him and Leonardo Decraprio go at it in some kind of celebrity death match. The both piss me off
I think guys with British accents are so sexy but if they have blue eyes then I find them even more attractive.
Out of all of the accents I've heard, I'm a sucker for the Irish accent. That will make me melt everytime. However, I also love the sound of Canadian, Japanese, Jamaican, and Dutch accents as well. I got to hear a sexy Dutch voice today. I wonder if she'll read this post...
LOL, I'm Glaswegian (Scottish ) and i have a LOT of trouble with my accent in Canada. I love these guys tho, don't get me wrong...i know that its basically my own fault. I think the best example was at the food court.. Cashier: Would you like option A, B or C Myself: B please Cashier: A? Myself: No, B Cashier: A? Myself: B for Barry Cashier: .....? it continued like this for a while until someone translated for me. we both had a laugh tho.
