Australia ball-tampering: Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull shocked by 'cheating'

As a so-called 'whinging pom' I just can't stop laughing about this. The Aussie cricketers are so po-faced and unbelievably arrogant, and walk around like they're God's Gift to cricket. How are the mighty fallen.

he didn't even do a good job of hiding his evil either...he should have reached into his pocket when the ball was at the other end of the field or pitch or whatever its called.....he fumbled it because he already had the ball when he reached into his pocket....

how much does buddy get paid for cricketting ?...is it millions?

They shine the one side of the ball and try to make the other side rough. When the ball is bowled it will swing in the air making it difficult for the batsmen. The rougher the one side is the more it will swing and that is why he used sandpaper.

The old sandpaper down the trousers trick. Lol. Rofl. Maybe I should try pool ball tampering. :tearsofjoy: sand a flat spot on the cue ball lol. But then I'd have to use it too. :p

The captain Steve Smith said in a very po-faced and begrudging manner on the live televised press conference in front of the whole world's cricket media that he had made an 'error of judgement'. He mumbled the words out whilst looking down at his shoes, like a naughty schoolboy who'd been dragged in to see the Headmaster. 'Error of judgement'?! The captain of the top cricket team in the world gets caught cheating on live tv in a high prestige international series against South Africa, and he calls it an error of judgement?! Talk about an understatement [IMG] Anyway, it wasn't an 'error of judgement' it was deliberate premeditated cheating. He went out on the pitch with the deliberate purpose of breaking the laws of cricket solely for his own team's advantage.

  15. Absolutely! Apparently, according to latest news, only 3 people were involved. I doubt that very much! I suppose that 3 people falling on their swords is better than the whole team being discredited! Too late chaps!

Isn't that as you say, "Not Cricket?"
Or does it depend on who it is,
And how much money they make?

Is it only "Not Cricket" when they don't get caught? Like the banks collapsing the world economy?
