hey i wanted to know if i buy a 400 wt hp light and hooked it up to a desk clamped light with an aluminum foiled background wi=ould it still grow found q bulb on ebay for 14 95 shipped and the whole ballast thing is way out of order u kno
Nothing personal my man but have you ever seen the size of a 400 Watt HPS or MH bulb? The socket diameter is easily double the size of a standard bulb not to mention the standard lamp cord would melt (you want a grounded plug as well). Keep in mind that fire is a possibility with HID lights. But as my man said you do need a ballast.
