a woman wrote a book about a year without made in china, mentioned in another thread could you live a year without corn?
I haven't eaten corn in probably over a year. it's good, I just never eat it for some reason.... popcorn.. however, I eat probably like 4 times a year or something.
dave..... I don't exactly know what you mean. in China, a woman couldn't have corn or any corn product for a year? and wrote a book about it?
an american woman wrote a book about not using products made in china for a year could an american go a year without eating anything that had corn in it? and, perhaps a further extension, could they also purge corn fed livestock, and products derived from said livestock from their diet? I imagine you'd probably end up being a raw food vegan for a time trying it.
That'd be hard. I have known people that did it for food allergy reasons. i remember it being really hard for them. Corn is in everything now adays. We do try to limit our corn syrup intake- and modified processed foods, that a packed with it, but we do eat corn on the cob, succotash, green chili cream corn, and popcorn quite often.-It woulld limit our snacks and sidedishes. It wouldn't really alter are whole diet like it would many americans.
Don't forget corn oil and corn starch. All products from animals that fed on corn-meat, milk, eggs, etc. And tons of stuff that doesn't even have the word corn in it. It would be really hard. Here's a site about someone trying to do it for a few days http://commongroundmag.com/2008/05/healthyliving0805.html
