I was wondering for all the serious poets out there, how many of you, during spontaneous bursts of creativity, have a notebook and a writing utensil with them at all times to jot down their ideas?

Rarely. If I'm home it's easy enough, I do have a small notepad I keep around. But anywhere else, I've usually forgotten it, so I have to rely on memory. Ah the irony...

I always find myself thinking of something great and wishing I had something to write it down with.

the trees, the lovely trees, oh, the lovely trees:
grind to a wet pulp, separate, wash and dry

squid, squiggly squid, oh, the squiggly squid:
to be honest, you scare the piss out of me

    unscheduled, self-sufficient and delicious:
mental brownies play 24 hours a day
