i want to get my boy a nice christmas present. however, i am really bad at buying presents for guys. for a girl its simple, they all want make-up, bath stuff, clothes, cds, etc... but for boys i never know what to get and i don't want to have to ask him what he wants. i want it to be a surprise.
so, i'm going to tell you a little bit about him and maybe you guys can help me choose a nice present for him, hopefully not too expensive a present either.
    - hes a pothead (lol)
    - he loves johnny cash
    - he loves the muppets
    - he likes hemp jewelry
    - he likes guitar but can't play
    - he has as many hair products and shoes as i do
    - hes a little feminine (lots of candles, hair products, throw pillows, etc...)
    - hes a photographer like me. (only much better)
    - he loves plants. (not flowers, just plants)
    - he takes pride in his photography and had his photos framed around his place.
    - hes a small guy. probably 5'8" or 5'9" and 130 lbs at most.
    - he loves to cook / hes an amazing cook.
    - he just moved out of the city for school for a few months so we don't get to talk often or see each other often.
    - hes amazing in bed, haha...
    - hes very passionate.
    - he prefers touch over visiual.
so... any ideas? i do get a discount where i work at a flower shop but i don't really think flowers and junk would be a suitable gift.

the photography really caught my eye too...
old school or digital? Old school is ridiculously expensive, especially teh RC paper for printing nowadays.
I think something photo-related, but personalized somehow, would be really nice. :D

Has he talked about any kitchen gadgets that he wishes he had lately? Like, I wanted to cook X for dinner, but didn't have this little whatchamadoodle to do blah, so instead decided to cook Y... Or a special lens or filter or whatever for his camera... Something along those lines.

Noticing some tiny thing that he mentioned once could be more special than coming up with some random idea that sounds like he might like it...

I actually think a small arrangement of flowers given to a man is incredibly romantic.

why don't you try making something? The best gift i have ever received was a little box that had the mechanism from a music box on top (it plays "imagine") with scrabble letters that spell rad. Inside were a couple of small things to remind me of her (a feather, a couple bracelets, a charm that said love on it, etc.). So it was like gifts inside a gift. I don't know, something creative, made by the hands of the girl I love is way more dear to me than something she could have picked up in a store - regardless of the item or its cost.

actually he has testicles spooner but thanks for your idiotic input you incompotent fool.
anyway i came up with a present for him... i'm putting together a plant arrangement with a few plants and daisies and a teddy bear from my work then i'm going to buy a nice frame and frame 3 photos i have taken that i think he would like (i'm also a photographer) with one photo of myself in the middle.

I do photography too and i'm sure he's ike something practical like a lens or or a tripod. what about an MP3 player with all his fav tunes on it? Clothes? There's lots out there.Try mix two presents? That way he has to like one. Don't have to splash out too much, buy teo smaller things rather than one big.

i like the one you got him, but since pothead was the first thing on there, i would suggest a special pipe, mabe a chillum or something.
