A plea to my good friends at Random Thoughts

I am an internet illiterate since I never bought anything online. This has nothing to do with my rebellion, but more with my paranoia.

Now I am asking all of you online junkies; what is a good online place to buy extremely cheap flighttickets?

Plane tickets have about doubled in the last two years, the end must be coming soon

 

You must have booked at the wrong place then, flight tickets for me have been going down quite a lot the last couple of years.

I bought a ticket from charleston WV to St.Louis for $85 at continental.com granted the first plane had like 14 seats and was very tiny and loud. But still I thought that was a killer deal.

 

never buying anything on line isn't being illiterate. it's just plain good sense.

there are a few exceptions. things that let you try them out for free first.
or try out and keep fully functional parts of them without doing anything nasty to your computer. and asking only a very small and reasonable amout for the rest of registered functionality.

you can order stuff on line if it's something you know exactly what it is and its from someone you can trust it to be. i would keep this limited to very niche sorts of things, where people don't buy things for their labels or any of that crap.

i would certainly never buy common things that way, like clothing or anything else 'mainstream', nor anything exceptionaly expensive.
