here you go, a picture of me, slightly outdated as my hair is completeley braided (nearest i can get to dreadlocks, sniff), but there you go!

do you want dreads? you can get them easily, just don't comb your hair and keep washing but without conditioner. trust me your hair will knot quickly. will just look messy for awhile.

pfft i haven't brushed my hair for a year and i never condition it and i don't have dreads!

lol, i would love dreads, but unfortunately i'm involved in a battle with my mum about having my nose pierced! dreads would not go down well.. roll on uni!

do you run your fingers through your hair alot?
i've had dreads for 7 years and i only got mine by not brushing my hair and not conditioning it. still wash it though. that's essential.

 

yeah, moms can freak about that sort of stuff.
i still remember how my mom freaked when i came home with my tongue pierced, and i was 18 at the time.

i don't own a hairbrush or comb. my hair never tangles. it's kinda nice, this super straight native american hair. i don't want dreads or anything, though.
