one of my favourite quotes, from mark twain:

'blasphemy? no, it is not blasphemy.. if god i as vast as that, he is above blasphemy; if he is as little as that, he his beneath it. '

Isnt it about time we all just admit that Bertrand Russel was a lousy atheist?
He just might be in Heaven considering he probably converted more people to Christianity with his terrible attempts to invalidate the religion lol!

He's so bad that nobody even bothered to create one of those 'Atheists Deathbed Conversion' urban legends about him.

hmm, if he was an atheist, he was lousy at it indeed. he didnt seem to care much for the closed mindededededness of dogma tho

He was not an atheist he was agnostic, neither did he attempt to invalidate Christianity. He was continually bombarded with Christian conversion attempts, death threats from Christians, rebuttals from Christian professors of various things, was fired from various jobs because he was not Christian etc. . . He responded to these in an intelligent, rational, and kind manner instead of knucking under, if that is what is meant by "attempts to invalidate the religion" then maybe he did try.
