a new earth-like planet..contradicts god or no?

I would like to debate more on this, because this means that we are in fact, not alone, and that we are not the only planet that can inhabit life, did god create this planet also? is it a backup? or is there a god at all? im not choosing sides, but im very confused about this matter...
