and that would be me. My name is ‘something’ but for these purposes I think my nickname is best suited-

I just signed up. Earlier I happen to run across a mention of this site and thought it might be a fun place to commune with others. A little about me:
I am 57, grew up in Jersey where I grew up at an alarmingly young age. Then, at 16, we moved to GA in 1982. Finished HS in ATL, then Spent the 8 insanely glorious years in Athens, GA during the latter part of the 80’s. I’ll leave my UGA experience untold for now. The Univ. of GA was voted/rated the # 1 party school several years back then. That is an accurate assessment. ‍
Graduated, moved back to the ATL, worked two long term jobs where I retired from both. The second job ended with me retiring at 53 years old.
I took care of mom and dad and now I just take care of dad.
Obviously I left out a few facts about my history, but for my 1st post I just wanted to draw an outline of me and say, “Wassup.” y’all. Or youse guys.
