Hello all! I am fresh to the forums here and eager to make friendly relations. I recently made an introspection session into a life-changing experience. I found that by my vintage clothing, love for acoustic ballads and bluegrass jams, I must be a hippy of some sorts. I found that life is to short to seek out the next best thing and not slow down to see the smaller, simpler things. SInce I have been happier and find myself surrounding myself with like-minded people (such as you fellow members out there) I am 18 years old, grew up in the hills of Kentucky(where my love for bluegrass is derived) and currently live in your typical suburb North Carolina. My truest love is for the mountains and the inspirations that it drives out of me being there. I play the guitar, and am currently learning to fiddle. I am most positive that I will find others here with similar interests as mine....happy posting all!

Hello Existing & Welcome to the forums. Glad ya found us and hope you hang around awhile. I love bluegrass also & play in a bluegrass band accross the river from your homestate in WV. Bluegrass festivals are a blast, and there is a lot of great bluegrass music down in N.C. Peaceful thoughts your way..... Farmout
well technically 17.... 18 in a couple weeks.... but if you count from the time of conception as some cultures do I'd already be 18 however you want to look at it
