Just look at it from a new way, some of the old ethical values that are intermingled with religion do not really have much to do with god at all. Use good judgment. God wants you to be happy he wants you to make good decisions but every question of ethics is not necessarily a question of faith or gods will. So maybe a lot of ethics is just ethics and religion is a whole new game with some overlap (ie. murder) but not as much as we think
that is so true. So many people blindly obey the bible and don't question things... they call that being "moral". Yeah right. I follow my own path, I don't hurt anyone else. I hate how so many organized religions are all about control. How is homosexuality bad? why can't there be other paths? I consider myself to be more spiritual then religious.
