Last night, I suggested to my boyfriend that we go on kijiji to look for apartments, as we have decided to move out together. Today, we have decided on and have been guaranteed residency in our new apartment!!! We were searching for a 1-bedroom apartment where we could live while we both attend university and work part time. We found the perfect place within walking distance to the university and near the bus stop where I take the bus to work. Let me describe the apartment: The apartment consists of a very long hallway with doorways to the rooms on the right wall. The first room is a very spacious living room with nice imitation wood floors. The second door leads to the kitchen, with enough space for a good size table. The third doorway leads to the out dated, but nice, full bathroom. The last doorway is to the nice sized bedroom. The apartment also has two large closets in the hall way for coats and storage. There are no laundry facilities, but we'll get by with local laundromats. We're happy with it, and will be moved in June 1st.
This will both of our first apartment, so we don't know how much of a pain in the ass it is quite yet
We will. We're both working and in the fall we'll both be attending school in different faculties. We practically live together now in his room at his mom's, and we always let one another breathe a little. But it's great to have your other half living with you ^.^
yes..communication is important and also seperate bathrooms...very important..and if you ever get married, seperate bank accounts
I much prefer living here with Daniel than living with my parents, but the guys here are such slobs, and there's no way I have enough time and energy to pick up after them all the time, so it makes me look slobby, too.
