not bad, but that cake will be in my nightmares forever. It's actually good. you should see some of the things people did when I worked at that cake place...
My kids took one look at that Ariel cake and said ewww, that's so ugly! The first dragon one HHB posted though, that was fantastic. I thought I was a pretty good sugar artist, but wow, that's definitely a masterpiece right there. Lots of detail, pure perfection. I'm assuming they used fondant, hand sculpted it, and used a combination of colors mixed with spirits and hand painted it to get those shadows and colors. Love it. A cake like that would be extremely pricey. All of the work put into it plus the cake, the buttercream they more than likely used underneath the fondant, not to mention the fondant itself. You're talking big bucks.
i'm more into the Ginger bread mansions myself, not to say that the icing on a cake doesn't take fucking forever if you do it right!
