A life without acid? How often do you drop it?

I know I just recently posted about my first acid-trip.

I just can´t let it go, and the thought of not knowing when I´ll ever be able to get my hands on acid again is driving my crazy. It wont let go of me, it was kind of like love at first sight. I just don´t know how to quite handle it, you know. I´ve tried MDMA, I´ve tried research drugs, I could even go without weed.

Nothing has ever touched me this way before. I might sound crazy, but really, my 2 acid experiences where just soooooooo breathtaking, beautiful and life changing!

It´s not impossible to get hold of here (I live in Sweden) but as I´ve heard it´s around for a month or so and it gets sold out in no time at all. And I´m not really a part of the drug culture, just have some loose end contacts.

I guess (and hope) that I´m not the only one feeling this way.
Acid is just... divine!

How often do you guys drop some acid?
Would you do it more often if you could?

Does it ever loose it´s "magic" when you´ve tripped a couple of times?

Like the hippies that went to Goa in the sixties, as I´ve heard they had loads of acid and a woman said in an documentary (The last hippie) she was doing acid every day. That kind of has to mess you up; doing it every day!?

 

like with alot of drugs that i really enjoy for the first time, i have a tendincy to continually use them. At it burns it out real quick and kills the magic if you do it continuesly. I have dropped as much as once a week for 2-3 months and it starts to not really do anything after a while. It does but your just in that head space so much its not new or differnt. Now a days i only take it once every 3-4 months. only takes me one or 2 hits and its brand new to me. Its easy to burn out your acid fuse because its so much fun. But take it from me and many other people, when you space out your trips you get more out of them!

 

LSD is my favorite drug as well. i try not to drop more often that once a month, and even that is too often for me if i do it continuously.

in the summer, i might end up dosing twice in one month, but then i try to hold off for several months after that.

Well i have found it once in 15ish years. It drives me crazy not knowing when will be my next time.

yea after a while of frequent use the trips start to become a little less magical. it's almost like dosing once kind of wears out your psyche a little bit and you have to wait a little while for it to rest to be ready for another heavy psychedelic experience. otherwise you are just going to be tripping with a worn out psyche and the experience will be less magical. i've experience a really magical trip, and i have also experienced a trip that wasn't so magical because i had been tripping often.

a general rule of thumb is space out your trips by 1 month. but personally, after tripping once a month for 6 months i felt like the acid was starting to affect me too much so i took a break. so even more than 1 month between trips can be good. but as long as you are feeling like you are i'd imagine you will want to take it once a month till you decide to chill out.

i konw the feeling of craving your next psychedelic experience really bad. but you kind of just have to let it go. there's been times where 1 week after i tripped on lsd i wanted to trip again immediatly but waiting the extra 3-4 weeks always payed off. waiting always pays off.

i recently tripped 2 weekends in a row, but before that i hadn't dosed in a year. so i feel like i'm not overdoing it.

 

Well there seems to be a lot of acid at psytrance-festivals.
I think that´s the easiest way to get a hold of it; at least here in europe. I was at the Ozora-festival in Hungary and there was acid everywhere. But I got there by plane, and didn't really feel like smuggling drugs. Otherwise I´d bought a shit load of it hah.

 

It really is magical. The only bad part part about it is how much you want to come back to that world. I was in that exact same mind-frame after my first experience. Let me just put back the story to say "it's best if you *can't* get ahold of any for awhile"

You will find it again, and when you do, hopefully it'll be just as magical. It really does change the perspective of the world, but now it's time to reflect on it. Enjoy the "unaltered" state of mind, it only makes it tripper when you change your consciousness once more.

Also now that you have had experience with acid, weed will seem more psychedelic for some reason. If you get high enough, you'll even be able to have acid visuals now. It's not quite the same since the headspace is more foggy. But it's a good world.

I don't have a usual time frame from dropping. I haven't had acid this whole year I think?? I feel like that's wrong, but I haven't had it in months. I've used LSA from morning glory seeds though. I'm gonna trip again tomorrow or the next! Can't wait!

 

I usually trip for a few days straight in September at a local festi. And I'll save some for Halloween, a good snowy day in the winter, and for a beautiful day in the spring, and maybe a couple times in the summer.

 

Oh well; then I´ll look forward smoking some weed the next days then; have not been smoking since the acid-experience yet!

 

Trust me you'll have fun smoking man. Otherwise check something out called HBWR seeds (LSA) other than the nasuea, very similar to LSD, very legal.

 

Yeah, I´ve read a lot about these seeds the last days!

Do they work out for you? A lot of people say they just feel horrible trying these seeds, with horrible cramps? They maybe didn't do it the right way?

How do you use them, eat them, crush them, soak them in alcohol?

 

When I have acid, I drop it about once a year to clear out the cobwebs. I did it recently for the Santana-Allman Brothers concert. But I recently went for about 15 years unable to find it anywhere. I have a nice little supply now.

 

I wish i was able to eat it at least once a year. but the same time the less you eat it, the more magical it is.

For me, the first time was special. Still remember most of the details some 30 years later.

It's never lost the magic, all these years later. Keep in mind that I didn't have a single trip for quite some time, and I never have and never would do it regularly. THAT I feel would ruin the experience, not to mention other bad effects.
Last year I had 3 experiences, this year one so far and soon to be a second. That's plenty. Inbetween I'll have some times with synths, shrooms if they come around... but Lucy is special. Very.

 

i think a good timeline would be LSD no more than 4 times per year. roughly once per season. i've said this before, but i seem to trip a bit more frequently than that.

 

I always hated dropping acid, especially window pane and microdot...it's so tiny, it's hard to find on the floor. Then your cat notices you looking for stuff and starts attacking every speck...no,no kitty! oh crap I think she just licked up my dose...

 

I only drop LSD once or twice a year, but no, I'm not giving it up anytime soon!
