After months and months of waiting and one encounter with some bunk LSD, I finally got my hands on some that I knew was good. Around 5:30PM EST on Saturday I dropped my first hit of (working) acid. Shortly after this, around 6:30PM, my two friends and I decided we would go out for a cruise and stop at some nature trails to light up a couple bowls of some deliciously dank Trainwreck mixed with some pleasantly potent Blue Lagoon hash. We explored the trails a little deeper than we previously had while enjoying the fine bowl. The forest was moist with the smell of life as it had been sprinkling all day. I commented to my friends while walking that I was not feeling like I normally do when I get stoned, and I attributed this feeling to the acid working its way through my system. After we got done with the trails we decided to take a cruise down a scenic road to smoke some more. While driving it began to rain and the patterns left on the windshield began to take some geometric shapes. There also seemed to be a rainbow halo around the windshield's edge. Nothing much of interest happened while out cruising, but we got back to the dorm at around 8:00PM. At the dorm I was getting some slight visual distortions, such as waving and shifting. Perhaps a slight form of melting, but the point is it was not very pronounced. I figured that I had touched the first hit for too long with my bare hand, and that I had contaminated the LSD on the blotter. I then decided to drop another hit, being much more careful with this one. I dropped the second hit at 8:30PM, 3 hours after my first hit. After this quite a few people came into the dorm, so it was too crowded for my liking. There ended up being 8 people in the dorm, including my two friends and I. A few people left after about an hour, so around 9:30PM. My friend J started playing some GTA IV, which I found to be hilarious. It was very enjoyable for me to watch in my altered state. It looked amazing when he would go flying down the road at super speed. The game also looked cel-shaded to me, as if I were watching a subtle cartoon. Later that night we watched The Big Lebowski, which was absolutely hilarious while tripping, and which also had the cel-shaded effect to it. I had a much more pronounced waving/melting effect, especially when looking at the posters on the walls and my friends' faces. I would also see some colored blips if I stared at a certain spot for a prolonged period of time. I ended up staying up until about 5:00AM, which was 3 or 4 hours after my friends had passed out, as they were drinking. Nothing else very significant happened, and it was an overall fun trip. I am somewhat disappointed as I was expecting a much more profound experience, but I can attribute this to my noob-ness with handling the individual blotters and it being my first time. I still have two hits leftover and I plan on dropping those again in about a week. I might even buy another hit or two from a different friend who bought some. so if i bought 2, would you recomend me taking them at the same time? becuase i want to trip more than i did when i did an 1/8th of shrooms recently.
Well, my trip would have been much stronger I'm assuming if I had not touched the blotters at all. I would recommend taking both hits if you are looking for as powerful a trip as you can get. I would also recommend not touching the blotters at all, perhaps use some tweezers or something to pick them up. This of course is just me guessing what to do, so someone with some better experience would be helpful.
the problem was not touching your blotter—there's no like magical bacteria that humans carry that eats acid. it sounds like just plain weak blotter—next time eat both at the same time.
Well I know there isn't a magical bacteria but the acid that's covering the blotter could get rubbed off by the oils on your skin if you touch it for too long.
