How do you know? Were you here 10 million years ago?? The only knowledge we have of what happened 10 million years ago is fossil evidence, and that does not indicate whether there was religion or not.

Why no discussion about voluntary or forced population control?

Because it's done in secrecy. You're not supposed to know about it. Why? Care to volunteer yourself?? I personally believe that anyone who advocates population control should offer up themselves and their families first.

Why isn't there a declaration of war against drug cartels?

Because the drug trade is big business which governments have a hand in. Drug money keeps the world economy going, so why would the government want to go after the drug trade when they're profiting from it? They simply go after the little guys to make it look like they're doing something, yet drugs persist. The war on drugs is a farce. Also, I notice you didn't mention anything about there not being a war on PHARMACEUTICAL drug cartels, since legal, pharmaceutical drugs ruin far more lives than illicit drugs like heroin and cocaine.

most of those are because of people not looking beyond themselves. some refuse to and some, it might even not ever occur to therm, to do so.

physical things of course, don't really involve social perceptions at all. i mean there its a big universe, and something really don't involve us at all.

the lava thing, the total mass of lava that has risen to the surface for the last four billion years at least, is so small a fraction of the planet's mass as to be negligable.
a more littleral answer would be tiny bit less denser of a core.

why most people don't use the best possible grammar, is that we're not all trying to be professional writers.
and getting our ideas out, that having to be self conscious about how we do so,
would be far too inhibiting for many, if not most people, to do so at all.

and that INCLUDES most people who might or do, have better ideas then those that are currently common.

why aren't all roads devided by barriers to traffic moving in oposing directions,
because the whole thing of roads and transportation policy that favors cars,
to keep oil extraction profitable and bankers rolling in keeping people indentured to them,
is aggressive indefference to government earning its keep,
by among other things, providing or seeing to,
real public transportation alternatives.

pretty much the same goes for the rest of stuff about cars.

the stuff about medications and health, keeping people sick but alive, is the same for pharmacuticals and insurance as what cars do for oil companies and the banks.

most people know all this, but don't know what to do about it, because they get their infotainment from corporate controlled media.

Cute, Rat. Was I there? Pffft. Are there fossils of humans from 10 million years ago? Examples of writing? Civilization? I'm not sure how you could miss the point that the predecessors of humans had not evolved into beings that could/would have been capable of such. How could there have been religion if there were no humans to propose it?

 

i don't understand this question. is "less cars" a commonly used expression? i've never seen or heard it said that way, at least not that i've noticed.

that said, people are terrible at grammar, and use "less" instead of "fewer" all the time. also, it depends on the context. if someone were to call the radio station and say "you should play less cars," that would be both grammatically and musically correct.

The implication is a Cars album or albums, in which case --"you should play fewer Cars-(albums). Yeah, people use less for multiples all the time----less politicians---less streetlights--and so forth. It grates on my ears--so I don't like to hear it. I'm not that much of a stickler for the grammar of others---but fewer and less were and are taught at the very basic, beginning level of english.

 

So Rat--you believe that anyone that advocates population control should volunteer themselves. Ok. Fine. Give me a number that you feel comfortable with as concerns population----here I'll help you----10 billion? 20 billion? 100 billion? Getting close to how many you think is right and proper?

i disagree. if any such thing, the implication would be "you should play fewer cars songs." but ultimately, the distinction between "less" and "fewer" is generally determined by whether something is quantifiable or not, and "the cars" is not. so it would be less. you want fewer songs by the shitty band, but you want less of the shitty band itself.

also, i don't think less and fewer have been taught in english class for a long time. it's one of those things that most intelligent english speaking people pick up relatively early in life, but i'm pretty sure it was never mentioned in any of my english classes.

 

My basic english ed happened in 1946. Still disagree.

 

Fewer emphasizes number and modifies plural nouns. Less focuses on degree,bulk or quantity. So there.

Hmmm I dunno about that. I'd say back in the 1910's and '20s cars looked more the same than they do now. There are still lots of us out there who still drive old cars from different eras that are unique amongst the 80% of all cars on the road being less than 10 years old (a true statistic btw). So I'd say cars and styling is pretty diverse. The only reason most consumer goods (like cars and everything else) look the same is because designers know consumer trends and tastes, and they try to design something that's guaranteed to sell, regardless if it's same-old-same-old. So I agree there should be more diversity.

Because the government has no business dictating how many children we should have. Forced sterilization was popular back in the 1930s when the government forced all "imbeciles" to get sterilized through a eugenics program. The imbeciles included but were not limited to: the mentally and physically disabled, black people, Native Americans, and Jews. It didn't work out so well.

Crushers have become a lot more powerful to dispose of modern cars. When they tried to crush a Tesla Model S, the motor on the crusher blew up. Modern cars have reinforced structures, but not as heavy duty as racecar rollbars.
