    Hi there,

I am not of the Rasta-fari faith, nor any other faith. But I am and always have been very interested in learning on faiths and religions.

There is a few things of Rasta-fari/rastfarinism that confuses me and was wondering if anyone could explain a few things.

    Ok so

halle salesse was an announced Christian, and follower/believer of christ, if this is the case then this belief would come HAND in HAND with believing in christ jesus is also believing the fact that jesus had fulfilled the prophecies of the old testament. Which made way for the teaching of jesus and the new testament.

With this said to believe in this is to set aside the laws of the old testament, because not only and embrace the ten commandments which is the new word of god, not the laws on which mosses had spread (which were for JEWISH people) in leviticus. So when mosses speaks and the laws of of not cutting ones hair, this is solely for the jewish people.

So if rasta-fari belive in Christ, they HAVE to believe that christ fulfilled the prophecies of the old testament, and recognize the new testament. In which case the laws of the old testament are no longer required by god/jah but only to fullill the ten commandments.

    Are rasta-fari jewish? or christian?

Any logic explanation i would truly appreciate

Please do not take this as an attack, I long for knowledge on all religions, it s a true passion of mine.

    Sunny days to you all

    Anthony
