Thought id share a few summery pictures of some of the places weve been to these past few months while weve been away and stuff weve seen. It wasnt a bad summer really, dont know why everyone grumbled so much. I may be saying that because im just relieved we didnt get flooded again though Well first heres what we were greeted with from the bedroom window when we first moved into our new flat at the beginning of August Weston-Super-Mud and its burnt-out pier Matlock
Ooh I was in weston back in June (my dad kinxed the pier, southend pier burnt down twice in his attendeance, sorry) and Matlock in July!
Cows Mushies View over Cheltenham from Leckhampton hill which we got stuck up And this was the runaway train in Alton Towers. Ill have to dig out the ridiculous one of us soaked through on the log flume later Dere ya go
There were lots of old ladies with a kind of yearning and depression in their eye looking towards the pier remains by the time we got there! Used to go to Matlock loads when i lived in that area, thought wed go back Some nice hills and stuff. Shame Scott chickened out of the cable cars
