So SWIM was looking for a simplest speedy drug to make and decided to try a Methcathinone synthesis. Since SWIM doesn't have any knowledge of chemistry at all, she will be thankful for any useful advice. Also, she wants to work with only 600mg of pseudo, while all the recipes are meant for at least 3G of pseudo. That means SWIM really needs to adjust all the amounts of ingredients mentioned in her recipe (u know, all these mililiters and grams) SWIM plans to do a classic refridgerator+KMNO4 synthesis and this is how she thinks its gonna be done: Stuff needed for synthesis: KMNO4, Isopropyl alcohol (70% or more), muriatic acid, distilled water, Pseudoephedrine HCL, Aceton, coffee filters, PH measuring papers, eye-dropper 1. Dissolve a 600mg of pseudo in 450ml of water 2. Dissolve 7.45 grams of KMNO4 in 100ml of water-KMNO4 solution 3. Measure 15.5ml of this solution and add it to the 250ml of water 4. Leave both solutions from steps 1 and 3 chill in refridgerator for a while (refridgerator is set on 1°C) 5. Mix these 2 solutions together and shake 6. Let it sit in refridgerator until all the purple color dissapears 7. Take it out of the refridgerator and add 100ml of isopropyl alcohol, let it sit for a while 8. Chase it through the coffee filters couple of times 9. Add enough muriatic acid to get PH around 6 10. Stir it for a while and maybe filter again 11. Put on a stove and let all the fluid evaporate 12. Clean the gummy stuff with aceton to get some snortable powder And now for the questions: 1. In SWIM's country, u can buy bags of a dissolvable powder containing 30mg pseudoephedrine HCL and 500mg acetylsalicic acid each. Is there any chance that this acid can screw up reaction? SWIM thought this would be a good way how to avoid the washing pills part. 2. While evaporating solution on a stove, can SWIM let it boil? U know like bubbling 100°C 3. This was mentioned above - SWIM needs to adjust her recipe for 600mg of pseudo. All the amounts are meant for 3 grams. Is there anyone kind enough to help me with this? 4. Is it necessary to filter this stuff when used dissolvable powder (suspension called Aspirin Complex) instead of crushed pills? 5. If SWIM couldn't get an acetone, is there any other available dissolvent for purifying her product? 6. Are there any mistakes in SWIM's recipe? Or can be something done easier/better way? P.S.
