what does it say if you are planing college and weighing alot on how easy it is to get drugs and there prices
you have six years before you go to college, and you want to go to the college with the best drugs. college is hard work if you want to pass.... and its a lot of money.
Geez.. I remember when I was 13... I fucking knew everything... Then I turned 18, and realized I didn't know anything at age 13... But at 18 I knew it all. Then I turned 21, and I realized what a fool I had been - thinking that I knew it all at 18... What a load of crap I had for brains then... So at 21, I knew everything.... Then the ripe age of 24 came along... and I realized that NOW in fact, I knew everything... 24 years of experience, pain, happiness, and knowledge... I had it ALL... What else was there? Now I'm almost 28, and I don't know a goddamned thing... Lord knows what the age of 35 will bring....
Haha I was just thinking about that the other day. Yet I've learned not to take myself as seriously... ahh, silly life, silly world.
You know it might not be a good idea to go to a college that is all about drugs. What happens if you fall into an addiction and cant do well in school? or what happens if you get busted. I have known a kid that got kicked out of my dorm for smoking weed inside his room, he ended up dropping out of school and amounting to nothing. Personally I have done really bad this semmester because of smoking grass alot. Get your priorities strait, you go to college to get a degree, not to have an easy place to score drugs...
i do want ppl to know it is about more than that. i am weighing that in as well as a lot of other things. i do understand my grades will come first and this school is in fact my second choice. i want to study politics(btw i cant wate o be a member). also here is the info of the town in case you want to know http://www.ou.edu/ http://www.webehigh.com/city/detail.php?CITYID=Norman, OK
I know A LOT of people who went to college for the wrong reasons and they ALL failed out. I'm the only person still in college from my group of friends that I met in freshman year of college. It's a hell of a lot of work. Seriously, this is the first time I've been on the forums in like a month due to a plaforia of school work.
Avoid any college with the word Christian or Military Academy in the title. But really, University isn't that hard. I wouldn't stress about it.
In all seriousness.... Take the next 5 years, do what you have to in life, but always try new things and figure out what you're A. good at B. enjoy doing. When it's time finally for college, find a: Region your happy in (i.e. weather, social climate, urban / rural, etc...) Program / Teacher that you think you can learn a lot from. After that, it's all a crap shoot. You can't know what a school is like until after you've been there for a bit. Not to mention that your perspectives will change drastically as you wander through those years. As for the drugs / parties... That's kinda like worrying about if a diner will be out of ketchup the next time you order a hamburger... Sometimes it's on the table, sometimes you have to ask for it - either way, it's just a condiment.
