Diphenhydramine "Benadryl; The Pink Death " What a mind bending drug. I used to be addicted to this stuff. Yes, theres such thing as dependence to anti-histamines. First let me explain alittle about myself, I'm sixteen years old, I live in British Columbia, Canada. I weigh aprox. 170lbs, and I stand 5'10. Back when I first tried DPH I'd have only smoked Cannabis and drank. I was 14 years old and ready to try somthing like esctacy or mushrooms. I remember my friend Dave telling me about these pink pills that can make you hallucinate, I just moved in down the street, so I decided to steal some boxes of this stuff, because he already stold his moms allergy medication. Skip ahead a few months, when I started doing this stuff daily. It was summer time, the best time to go DPH trippin, some time we binged on it too. You can snort them, eat them. Put them in your body, and you were on your way to being delusional and scared. My favoruite part, I still can remember, where the full out hallucinations that you didnt know you were having. Many times I've looked down to the box of cerial that I was eating out of, only to see my box, and my spoon to have disapeared. After about 6 months of regular use, and with the descovery of DXM, Shrooms and Kedamine, DPH lost its value in my drug life. Okay, Now this is only a few months ago now, speeding things up, I wanted to go back to the old days and try out DPH again. So we had a handfull of my friends come over for a DPH-Party. In other words, a bunch of legaly insane, physconaughts. There was Dave, Blake, Jon, and myself doing DPH. I ate 800mg, Blake ate 800mg, Dave ate 600mg, and Jon had 600mg. After guzzling my many pills, and waiting an hour, I started to feel the familiar euphoria throughout my body, I started to feel drunk and slightly delusional. Where as Blake and Jon were having fun, me and Dave had our previous experinces working agaisnt us. Sometime through the night, Jon started pouring us glasses of water, I asked him what he was doing, he told me that he was making juice, and handed me a glass. I look into the dingy, dirty cup, think twice and dump it out. Jon continues to drink the water thinking its juice, after about 20 minutes Jon runs back and checks the 'juice' to find that its water, and then starts complaining saying his juice got away and we need to find it. Me on the other hand, I have the same hallucination everytime I do the stuff, this time held no expecptions, I started eating my box of cheerios, oh man they were delicious, I could feel them in my dry mouth, crunchy and nice, I could feel the cold edges of the spoon in my mouth. When I looked down at my cerial, it was right there, presenting the word Cheerio's upside down. I started asking myself "I wonder were I got cerial from" and then logicaly spent a few minutes pondering over this, when I looked back down, I held a spoon in my hand, but no cerial, and I was like DAMN, another hallucination. Only to suprising look back down to find no spoon in my hand either. See many crazy things happen with this drug, it shows you what life could be like for you if you were mentaly ill with somthing serious. One time my friend Dave saw me and his girlfriend making out in his closet, when he looked again, he saw that it was just two jackets hanging in it. I've spent many minutes talking to street signs that I swear was my friend Tim just minutes before. I've spent time in the back of random peoples trucks, waiting for my ride home, just to realize that this trucks parked on my street. I've spent time at the highschool, high on DPH, looking at peoles faces, having conversations with people that arnt there. I've seen my mother come into my room, yelling a bunch of garbly-goop nonsense, and leave, while shes out of town. I've found that DPH is the key to true insanity, I cant so much as eat a pink pill, when I'm doing esctacy or DXM (in tablets), I find it difficult, while I'm in a store looking at tylenol, and I see a packet of DPH I just want to puke. This drug isnt friendly, and it is delusional and decieving, it makes you slightly sick, and tired. Yet in the end, it showed me many a good times, but after trying drugs like Esctacy, Cocaine, Amphetamines, DPH, Kedamine, Mushrooms, just isnt as fun. Reguards, Moke

ahah, ive done my far amount of drugs ive also done my homework on them and on DPH, what i know and what ive experineced is totaly insanity, people will try anything its easy to get most people just walk into there bathrooms, i respond to so many because of think there is a lack of understanding when it comes to DPH i think the same goes for topnotch.
When i did it, I didnt take a whole lot. I didnt trip but when i was on them, my friend would be talking to me, and i would be watching t.v at the same time. and she would like scare me when she talked. I didnt have a real grasp on what was going on at the time. and when i would walk around i felt kind of drunk in a way. and my speech was really slurred. I couldnt say a sentence correct. But i didnt take enough to trip this time. Peace~
the first time I ever tripped was on accident. I took too many sleeping pills one night. I was only 13 or so. I thought I was going to die, but it was just a hallucination. So, this drug causes a side-effect known as cycloplegia. Which is why most people have similar hallucinations. Cycloplegia occurs when the ciliary muscle of the eye (CLICK ON THE LINK) becomes paralyzed. This muscle shapes the lens. What does this do? It makes it impossible for the eyes to adjust themselves to light from varying distances. It's like video, out of focus, but, it's your eyeballs. Mix that with extreme sedation and an ability to keep your eyes open, and you're on your way to one of the most potent hallucinogenic experiences ever created by mankind... Seriously. I have done numerous hallucinogens. The effects I witnessed when overdosing on Diphenhydramine were, without a doubt, the closest thing to being awake and dreaming at the same time. Except, it's a nightmare. If you have trouble with unsettling mental phenomenon then I strongly recommend you don't even try it. You need to have the mental strength to do certain things in certain ways. For instance, never fall asleep in the wrong position. WHEN YOU FALL ASLEEP WHEN OVERDOSING YOU CAN PUKE!!! IF YOU AREN'T CAREFUL, YOU CAN REGURGITATE AND DROWN IN YOUR OWN VOMIT!!! CLICK ON THIS LINK AND REMEMBER TO SLEEP IN THAT POSITION! It wont be hard, I promise.
Should've left this thread to rust & die back in 2006. You can get similar effects by eating a couple cans of Copenhagen, but I wouldn't recommend that either.:cheers2:

But I dont even see the point of doing DPH if you got weed or whatever. but back to the topic, yeah, DPH is like being schizophrenic for a couple of hours. I dont really see the fun in that. Like I said, thats the type of shit you stop doing once you can get weed, but if ur still desperate for a trip atleast do some dxm, fuck benadryl.
Diphenhydramine is actually worth trying a few times. You think about shit in a completely different way after knowing what it's like to be utterly fookin insane for a while. If nothing else, it'll teach you to appreciate sobriety a little more than you used to. Of course, it's not fun at all, but very interesting. Now I'm no stranger to powerful trips, having taken 60mg of 2ce last night, but I STILL think the DPH is worth trying, at least once. Sure, it's dangerous and chaotic and even kinda scary, at times, but it's crazy to know that your mind can get so twisted and crazy, and still come back in one piece.
Agreed Topnotch; I took this almost daily for a year in highschool, it's quite fun if you're in the mood for what it offers.
I took 4 bendryl before bed last night. I vividly remember thinking my hair was 2 feet longer than it actually is. There were a lot of other fucked up dreams but I don't recall any of them.
So, I thought I would expand on my earlier warning. This stuff, diphenhydramine, it gets in your brain! Most drugs only alter the way the brain works at a given time. I'm sure you know what dopamine is. The "blood-brain barrier" as it's called, is there to protect your brain from infection. The chemical structure of diphenhydramine fools the brain into thinking it is vital for metabolism. So, your brain lets it in. Why is this a problem? Because, your brain is never supposed to get an infection! Whats worse? Antibodies can't get into your brain! If you get an infection in your brain, your body can't fight it off! Now, this doesn't mean you are going to get a bacterial infection in your brain if you dose on this stuff. All I'm implying is the severity. Most drugs your average druggie will consume do not cross this barrier. Most drugs only alter the release of chemicals your brain already produces. This drug, diphenhydramine, actually gets inside your brain. That is why the hallucinations are so unnatural. The drug actually goes to work singing "rockabye baby" on your visual and auditory cortex. Diphenhydramine can put you in a coma if you aren't careful.
