fencing sounds bomb botany could be a sweet course. you could learn to make hybrid plants, like tomacco!
But is this the same in every high school ... Do your classes always last like a semester or something ? This is pretty confusing... It's wayyyyy more structured in my high school ...
90% of everything that was taught to me from 6th grade and on was pointless and didnt help me at all. i should of dropped out when i was in 10th grade so i could of gotten my GED and not wasted those years in high school although michas school sounds swheeet! but its not a high school, so thats why it does
Why is everybody into fencing these days? Certainly there's nothing better then running around with a giant sword all day. But it seems as though everybody I know has taken up fencing. Does this mean soon the whole world carry swords instead of laptops and purses?
i heard a thing on the radio once about how swords should be outlawed before guns. a gun has more purpose than to kill people, a sword doesnt. its not like you're going to go out in the woods and hunt a deer with a sword. though that would make you tough shit. and i think thatd be the only person i was ok with them hunting. though fencing is different.. since you have things on the end of the sword right? ... and its not for killing, anymore (i assume it started that way, but i've never studied its history) anyway to attempt to answer antoines question.... in high school (at least mine), each year you have to take certain classes. some last both semesters (all year), like english and typically sciences and history. some last only one semester. depending on your grade (what year you are), you get a certain number of electives. in my school, you had to take certain electives at some point in high school, such as a year in P.E., but you got to choose which year. And you had to take 2 consecutive years of a foreign language (i think it was two...)... other electives are for fun. school is usually from like... 8 am to 3 pm, with you going to each class for an hour a day, and a lunch break. i hope that made it make more sense.
nope, fencing is a gentleman's sport. it's all fancy like it was rude as hell to let the point touch the ground cos it was sterylized so that they didn't get infections..
i might be taking ECOLOGY next year. YESS. it might have to be independant study, but i'm actually hoping it is.. woop botany is great, too
