Yes, this seems the majority view in the west. Which makes a minority worry about the future of the white race as other ethnic groups keep having more kids as us, not only in western countries but on a global scale.
I think Russia is subsidising families with more kids Of course that country is so big they can largely act oblivious to the impact too much humans have on the planet.

It's arguable if the hungarian policy will fullfill its primary goal. Their population has been decreasing for decades and the main cause for the decline becoming less in the last decade is immigration.

 

The problem that we suffered in the UK during the 70's and 80's was that when people had spare money, they invested it in property, thus inflating prices out of reach of the next generation.
