yeah, I'm going to go watch tv...my days and nights are mixed up.

hehe, yeah, i did kinda think i was clever for putting it that way. it was 10+years ago, back in highschool. 3 miles is too far, each way. though if i were working i would be able to afford to ride the bus. i used to be able to run a mile and a half in 12:30, id like to get back in shape and to that time. thats why im hoping closer. and i know its impractical now, i have so much to do around here. hubby is going to get as much overtime as they will allow him, so that will help. we are already cutting the milk with powdered, there arent a lot of additional corners i can cut in the kitchen. our utility bills are not unreasonable, though we could probably bring down the electric bill by a bit.
my grandmother is bringing me my nana's irish soda bread recipe, my nana came from ireland when she was 11-12 years old.

i just hate when things are going good, progress is being made, and then the shit just falls apart. i am starting to think i am not permitted to be happy or comfortable for any length of time. its just not allowed. i should stop expecting homeostasis, its a fever dream for me.

weird thing happening.....my pc wont let me copy and paste a photo into the reply box using the pic icon....will not ''paste''......but it will let me paste directly into the reply box without the icon creating juast a link?



same with youtube videos.....wont let me paste into the links box but will let me paste a video directly into the reply box

My child hood best friend/cousin is engaged. He doesn't speak to me, but I heard it through the grape vine. He is VERY republican so I assume my lifestyle is something he does not agree with lol.
I guess you could assume that since apparently everyone got invitations to this months ago. It's like ok I can take a hint.

It's kind of sad he lost his brother to suicide (PTSD) and he is not in good shape. Serious alcohol problem from what my sister says.

I'd love a spliff right now but I seem to have found myself outside the marijuana dealing loop of late,due to my former contact turning out to be a raving sociopath who I had to cut out of my life.Oh well,I'm sure it will turn up again soon someday...It has a habit of following me around.

 

mowed some property... took 3 hours... last 10 mintues it started to pour down rain... got me pretty wet... though the timing could not have been any better finishing right before a storm hit..

This is weird... My house was designed and built with open soffit or open cornice. Like this...





The detail and construction on this house is even more intricate than the picture above. My insurance policy on this house was just canceled because they don't cover open soffit homes and I need to put the soffit back the way it was... A roofer was out last week for an inspection/estimate and he said "That is soffit"... Needless to say he won't work on the house because of the insurance Co. and the insurance company won't insure my house without soffit. They still say it must have been removed.


This house has been standing here for 65 years with open soffit and it's going to stand for another 65 I would imagine... I'm only going to be cognoscente of about 30 years. By that time I won't know which side of the diaper I'm peeing into... if I even last that long. But anyways, open soffit house will still have open soffit. It's not possible to properly add a closed soffit to this house. Fuck that insurance company... They are really dicking me around.

 

i hate cutting grass because of allergies

now i only have my own and there isnt much...my old friend is in a home and her kids sold the house to some stranger...they actually asked me to cut the grass one last time before taking my equipment home (no pay)..if id known the house was already sold i would have just left it

im starting to lose faith in karma

 

you might need to contact an architect an "expert" so that they can explain to the insurance company that houses are built that way.
the previous owners here stuffed insulation into the soffits, and the vents. fucking stupid assholes.
