I love you guys. The SL is full of some of the most supportive people I know. Floodgates open. My mom keeps telling me to apply for food stamps, her holey brain forgets that not only am I the wrong color, but we don't have enough kids to make up for being white and poor.

I'm hoping the perkins nearby needs someone with fucked up availability but awesome work ethic.
This just sucks. I was planning on going back to work so we could get out of the hole faster, but now I will need to do it just to tread water.

And now my mom is back in the hospital. No other information than that, fucking great. I would say that it can't get worse, but I know better.

 

Colorado snap program isnt much different than anywhere else in the conus. it goes by your expenses and income.. I make 12hr and qualify for $250.00 in food stamps. however, Ill soon only get like $102.00 due to the fact I make money.. but I still receive them .

we have been fucked every time we have applied for help. 26K a year is too much for a white family of 3 to qualify. i could pop out another couple of kids and qualify just fine. its fucking stupid. im stupid too, i guess. you would think that by now i would understand that the world is fucking against me. i just want to scream, but thats not productive.

not so simple for me, i try very hard not to lie. plus, pretty hard to be living in the house hubby is paying for, if we are pretending to be estranged. might be different if i was on the paperwork. maybe things will make more sense tomorrow.

blech. whiskey is not my favorite alcohol. i cant find the three pins (which i LOVE) so i went with Leopold Brothers american small batch whiskey. hubby says i can drink as much of it as i want, he prefers strananhan's and laphroaig.

i actually know someone who is a manager at a burger joint, i could probably con him into hiring me, but its 3 miles away, and thats a long ass way to walk. we definitely cant afford another car right now. and hubby might not be a fan of me seeking employment under someone ive, well, been under before, lol.
so im just going to get drunk tonight, fold some laundry, do some dishes, and try to get this place under control. i say that a lot. but my grandmother is coming out in 3 weeks, so i really cant be looking for a job and asking for my second week off of work.

ML, I know "things will work out" may sound overused..but really I'm sure that is the truth for you because you are smart and will figure something out.

Even though you feel you need a job now, worrying and trying to get one right now would be impractical since grandma is coming for a visit. I don't know why I'm thinking this, but...I think she may even have some helpful advise or something re this.

I remember you have back problems every now and then. Some walking is good for that; but, a round trip of 6 miles per day - and 3 miles of it being after work would probably kill me.

I couldn't help but about you being under the manager before. lol I'm not a fan of whiskey either.
