For (heavy) rock try bands like Nebula, Masters of reality, Atomic Bitchwax, Spiritual Beggars or Orange Goblin. I also like the 2 albums of the Liquid sound company very much.
This are some of my favourite rock bands from the 90's. I don't know a lot about grunge, but if you're into rock and grunge from the 90's I guess you should check out Soundgarden as well. Good luck :)

All those West Coast bands were great for 90s grunge (Nirvana, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Chili Peppers, Faith No More). Mais moi, j'aime aussi le groupe The Young Gods parce qu'ils chantent en français ;)

Oasis were the best band of the 90s.

other great bands from back then are Kula Shaker, Hurricane #1, The Wallflowers, Reef, Of Montreal, Brian Jonestown Massacre, Cast, The Church, The Charlatans UK, Super Furry Animals, etc etc.

I wouldn't listen to Tool, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Faith No More, Garbage, Hole, or Marilyn Manson... but thats just me. Not all of us are blessed with great taste, obviously.

Haha, I could say I have better taste then him but I don't see why. I don't like Tool, Garbage, Hole and Marilyn Manson as well though. Just like Oasis and Superfurry Animals. ;)

    Got funny.

Well. I don't like most 90s bands. There are some good ones (Nirvana, Pearl Jam ...), but this 90s rock basically sucks, boisterous carpets and heavy clouds of stuff just to hide poor compositions or low immagination. Older Rock had structures and sounds which were clear and bright like sunshine.
    There are some exceptions.

If I was you, I got a try on the early albums of The Tea Party.
Indie, Splendor Solis (which I like a lot), The Edges of Twilight (which is seemingly the best) - I don't like the later albums, but you might enjoy them, and you'll find out, that they are much better than that Manson-crap. But beware of bootlegs or concerts.

Or you take something more intellectual such as Spock's Beard.

By the way. Try out Led Zeppelin!

Alors, j'espère de t'avoir donné quelque bonnes idées.

It was a response to Jesus the Jedi and we were referring to Soulrebel, not to you. :)
