I figured out what it is.

The dealer is very inexperienced and he mistaked ounce for gram.

 

that's a pretty hefty mistake ^

 

Someone actually told me they'd sell me an ounce for $15. I laughed and told them to let me see it and held out a gram bag.

I wouldn't doubt it that theres someone else who would make the same mistake.
