Assembly of Dust is the best act on the road today. I highly suggest everyone taking drum jam up on his offer.

 

I need stamps myself, as well. I've never seen nor listened to much assembly of dust... they're one I've been wanting to see and from what little I have heard, I like.

Percy Hill has been a cult classic kinda jamband in the New England scene for years. Nate Wilson (keyboards) and John Lecese (bass) now play with Assembly, but Percy still pops up for a show or two from time to time.

Umelt is a young very diverse jam band with tons of energy. They do a lot of originals, but occasionally blow the doors off places with insane covers - must recently their playing the entire Wish You Were Here album at Stonehenge Music Fest.

I saw Catfish at a local fest not too long ago and was pretty impressed with them as well.

INMHO though, nothing beats an Assembly show - greatest combination of musicianship and excellent song writing on the scene today.

from reading DHS's posts with the repeat of JAM BAND... i'd take it that they play alot of jam music... mellow to insane strung out songs... im definately gonna send some stamps now

haha, forgive my ignorance for asking, but can I order more than one cd at the same time? Like for instance if I want Green inside and U-melt, would 8 stamps cover that? Thanks

Hey djmama NOPE. I am a very small free sampler maker. I have been doing this for over 4 years it's just recently i've been at the library to make these offers to anyone who is interested. I help out bands and they get me sometimes cd's in return. I used to make cd's at 2x but a couple of months ago i bought a new dubber that is 52x so now cd's are cheaper and the dubbing is much faster...42 mins down to 4 mins. So its easier and i can offer cd's to many more people.

The quality is very good since nothing is burned on any computer its just since i DON'T have one ...hence - the stamps for mailing. BUT its so much cooler to get stuff in the mail and to see covers and stuff.

Well i'll be a smart ass and say NO.... but of course !! You get them in less than 2 weeks !! thats from the time you send for them and when i get them out. HEY THEY ARE FREE !! Never had a complaint cause they are NOT from a computer. Its only stamps so I'm NOT making any money.If you are over seas then it might be alot more stamps. I might have to check that out. I've sent out orders from california to maine to arizona to illinois and florida and new jersey, new york, connecticutt and massachusetts and new hampshire and a bunch more places.
