My friend recently had a run in with the police and now he has a 50 thousand dollar bond. i was reading in the paper the same day his bond was in there that some lady beat her kid 3 times and only had a 10 thousand dollar bond. does that seem fair to you? i mean come on its just a plant!
Sometimes Life isn't fair or consistant. Not long ago, a judge, I think in New Hampshire, sentenced a man who repeatily raped a little girl (who was under 10 years old during the attacks) to probation. Was this the kid beating mother first time before the judge? Had your friend been in front of a judge on druge charges, or any other charges? How much weed was recovered, how was it packaged? What were the specific charges? Did anything else happened during the arrest? A Lawyer would be in a better position to explain legal issues, but it is my understanding that, unless otherwise indicated as cash bond, the acual bond is 10% of the stated bond, $50,000 turns into $5,000.
Waiting in court 1 day watching proceedings the judge was setting bail. Some guy threw his g/f's baby against the wall so bad the baby had to spend a week in intesnsive care. Bail? $5,000. Another guy was in there for giving someone who asked a pinch of weed. Bail set at $40,000.

this one time i met a guy who had a friend who raped and murdered his whole family, and then he proceded to go to the 7-11, committed consentual sodomy on the cashier (the reason he killed his family), the cashier and the man proceded to the hospital where they went into the childrens ward and set it on fire, and he got fined 500 dollars, but one of my friends had a seed found in his car by cops and when he went to court, they had the first guy hide behind the door with a cheese wheel which was used to beat and then smother the pot head.
