Last night was my first real (had only tried 2 mgs before) experiments with 5-meo-DMT. i have about 330 (about 312 now) mgs of a HCl salt. Got rid of all the N,N, DMT material, screens, residue, etc. in the vaporgenie, laid down three new stainless steel screens, a bed of mullein and started with 5 mgs. i felt a feeling of deep relaxation rapidly descend upon me. It did not feel like a body load per se. It was accompanied by a profound lack of motivation - i was happy to just lay there even though not much was really going on. i questioned if i was experiencing anything more than the placebo effect. Main effects only lasted five mins. Repeated with another 5 mgs. and the effect was radically deepened and i knew without question this was working - i was getting off. i was able to get up after seven minutes and repeated with another 8 mgs. This was what did it. i went to a form of embodied (sort of) physical Heaven (sorry - for lack of a better word) for twelve timeless and ecstatic minutes (the peak part of the experience). This material comes on FAST. Faster than ANYTHING in my experience to date. One single hit. Make it count. It hit me like a wall of effects/physicality. Again, language completely and utterly fails me with its' inadequacies. My vision got a little wavery (not really psychedelic per se) as it hit me, i smiled and fell back and closed my eyes. It built rapidly and was very euphoric. There was a point about two minutes in where i reared up, stripped some clothes off (That's better!) then grabbed the purge bucket and made a few dry heaves. The wave passed, i put the bucket down and lay back. i listened to the music and it felt tremendously pure, golden, flowing. He he, so did i. The tones sounded so precise and pure and they were causing a kind of entanglement/melding. i could feel my self dissolving (gently!) and merging with everything around me. i could feel the music moving through my body. i cannot begin to explain the pure and absolute ecstasy of this experience. My words are lame. This material went right to the very heart of my soul and vibrated it like a cosmic string. And like a cosmic string, this vibration extended over light years and penetrated into other dimensions. It was pure soul orgasm, just that simple. A level of euphoria and pleasure that left me nailed to the bed, with a twisted rictus of a grin on my face and tears standing in the corners of my eyes. Once in awhile i would gasp, remember to breathe, and do single barking laughs. It felt like being directly in touch with the deeper knowledge, the deeper reality, the mystical, the numinous. But, it was pure feeling. Open eyes yielded little distortion other than a slight underwater wavy effect. Closed eyes produced a monotone field of yellow-golden light. The rest of the hour was spent in ecstatic return to baseline, with a huge grin pasted to my face and a real sense of wonder. i hardly slept at all last night but feel fairly well rested today. The gnawing hunger i have had since snorting DPT is gone. i am a bit mush-mouthy, in that composing verbal sentences could be going better, but i suspect eating some fruit and a little nap will help with that.
Sounds pretty excellent. Do you think you'll go with a higher dose? From my solo experience I definitely remember the remember to breathe part moreso than with n,n dmt. I also had some very defined fractals from :05- :45 but they lacked the depth of dmt or dpt. Your experience makes it sound enticing and I wish I could go back there but alas...
My intention right now is to continue explorations in the 8-12 mg (perhaps as high as 15) range . . .

Holy fuck! How did you ever take 3 hits? Crazy-ass! Is that why you lament that you wish you could go back there but alas . . . ? Due to reckless use of entheogens and consequences? You have referenced this before (journal). Do you have a link to a TR? i never cease to be amazed (and a bit appalled) at how people offer to initiate N,N DMT (and i guess 5-meo-DMT) sessions. i NEVER start myself or anyone i initiate (or even facilitate - this means an experienced user trying my crystal or changa in the Vaporgenie) with a high or breakthrough dose. i have talked to a number of people, regarding N,N, who stated that the person who initiated them gave them 40-80 mgs and they are never going back.
No this was pre hf days and before I really journaled trip reports. It was really the content of the trip that makes me not care to go back not necessarily the intensity. Yah I didn't view it as such then but I guess the somewhat common description of 5-me0-dmt is like "getting sat on by an elephant" applied I felt more like my mind was at the top of the room and my body sank into my bed. It was mainly like a very panicked purgatory void and then it gave way to the vibration of light years like you mentioned and almost a simultaneous perception of different cosmos' not unlike salvia. Then the comedown was pretty euphoric, I almost wanted to scream for a minute but I was trying to remember to breathe.
I did 50 mg. my first time by myself. Don't personally see why you'd chose to go lower. Why in the world would you not start with a breakthrough? This whole statement is deeply confusing to me spicey... I don't get where you're coming from at all.
Yeah, you and i seldom see eye to eye. It's all good. But, i don't understand your question if you took the time to read my statement. i'm glad 50 mg worked well as a first taste of N,N DMT for you. Kudos. It does for many others too. i am a bit psychotic. i have been invested (yep, by the molecule) with a mission. This mission includes among other things to try to spread the molecule (and information on how to safely extract it) far and wide. i am having a certain degree of success but along the way i am getting to meet a lot of different people and when i said " . . . . the person who initiated them gave them 40 to 80 mgs and they are never going back." i did not just pull this out of my ass. My philosophy/technique is a bit more gentle, if you will. i begin by offering a pre-dose of the user's choice: nothing, cannabinoids, an MAOI, pot & MAOI. Then we begin with 1/2 strength blue lotus changa, my preferred initial blend. If all goes well, and these days 9 out of 10 times it does, we are up to 1:1 full strength blue lotus changa and/or freebase crystal, taking breakthrough doses within a round or two, 30-60 minutes . . . Before the session is over i gift them with 250 mgs to 1 gram of crystal and the same in changa. i also strongly encourage purchase of their own Vaporgenie and give them a heads-up that any other device will burn at least some of the DMT and thus it will no longer taste good. Finally, they get a copy of the tek or directions on where to find it (or similar) online. It's a fundamental difference in philosophy that may or may not have to do with age. Older people really are less trustworthy (Never trust anyone over 30!) and more conservative. i never start in the deep end - i always wade in knee deep. i never throw someone, especially if they do not have a lot of experience, directly into the deep end. And yet here we are. The 42 year old administrator, the 60 year old handyman, the 50 year old dreadlocked nurse, the 35 year old computer guy, the 30-something year old visionary artist, the 29 (or so) year old musician. Coming back again and again, month after month, and for some, year after year. Taking those breakthrough doses. Admitting to and facing our fears and demons and taking whatever personal growth that results from that. We are not the crowd who did it a couple few times or once and are done for life. We have been shown the Light and burned to our cores but we keep coming back for additional looks . . . So, i guess it's just a long winded way of saying, "It works for me."
I read your statement twice before posting that response, and after reading your last post realized you were saying those people were scared off of ever doing DMT again. I thought you meant something along the lines of them not wanting to ever dose lower again. Well, in my opinion anything less than a breakthrough is a waste of material, and can give a false impression of what DMT is, in the same way some seem to think 300 mg. is a waste of material without ever personally taking a dose that high. Personally I wouldn't ever get someone to try DMT that wasn't ready for a full on "deep end" type of experience, but you sound like you have a pretty righteous cause spicey, props.

I would love a chance to check this spectacular molecule out but unfortunately i have no vendors for it nor the money to really extract it at the moment. I wouldnt want to try it but once or twice as i have had uncomfortable times with strong trips but thats i would be very prepared for the ride before jump in the seat!
