49 die after plane crashes into house in suburban Buffalo

This happened a few hours ago just about an hour from where I am.

I guess it just reinforces my apprehension towards flying just a tad bit more....

 

well they shouldn't of got all complacent with the miracle on the hudson...
Once one pilot makes them all feel confident thats when shit happens..

I have a theory that plane crashes happen in clusters (I feel there will be a few more) and that the bird strike one with the hudson river started this one.

I think it is a function of human behavior as a turing machine, and I feel that it is a function of both statistical, and economic (not the way you think of the word economic) correlations.

 

I agree with you dave, After 911 another plane came down in the Bronx. Flight 587.

 

and there was a crash in india too, but it was much less widely reported.

 

If man had been meant to fly, he'd have been born with wings.

 

when a newborn passes through the vagina it gets its first red wings.. These children have a far better chance at growing up and becoming qualified and successful pilots. C-section children not so much.. Its a fact. I saw it on the internets.

It makes me feel weird. I usually fly Continental and was going to do so with a connecting fly in Newark, NJ to Santo Domingo (it would've been this week), but didnt because I found a direct fly. Not that it means that the plane I was in would crash...

yesterday i took a nap with joey, and i woke up thinking a plane was buzzing my house. it was so loud. but no plane. i thought it was really odd.

but it's not outside of possibility. there's a guy around here who flies his antique planes all over the place doing touch and goes in the fields. it was probably just on the other side of my house where i couldn't see it. still, what a coincidence.

 

The Ospreys are always going for test flights over our house. They had a pretty well-known history for crashes for awhile there...Luckily, I don't think our house in particular is right under one of the paths they take, lol. It's just loud as fuck.

 

It hurt my heart to read this early this morning. I mean, Im sure there were at least a few douche bags on the plane so that's fine, but there must have been some kind people who will be missed. Very sad but, at least they died swiftly after an awesome fall. If I had to choose my means of rolling out, it would be that or a massive bomb exploding in my hands

 

i'd prefer to die peacefully in my sleep after a sweet dream.

 

One of the crash victims was a 9/11 widow. Someone will start a conspiracy.
