So I woke again this morning at 4:44 on the digital clock. This is like the 4th time in 4 months or so. I haven't been keeping track. Then I fell back to sleep and woke up at 5:55. So I finally decided to Goggle the numbers. The popular consensus is that 444 is an angelic number and that the angels, archangels in particular, are trying to contact me. Just to say that everything is fine. That sounds cool! Then 4 + 4 + 4 = 12 So I am a Pisces. Naturally I left out the negative stuff. And of course 1 + 2 = 3. There they are again! And we can't leave out the number 4. But I'm tired of looking this stuff up. Anyway, 555 is the number of change, so all this may be changing anyway. Do I believe all this? I always try to keep an open mind. It's just interesting that I have awoken numerous times at 4:44.Strange.
There's some sort of significance in numbers. But I probably wouldn't look at it like that. One that baffles me is 1.1.3 How it appears in disasters and stuff... PS is it Kabbalah Numerology you are into? Or another kind?
I looked into the Kabbalah about 40 years ago, but it's to complicated. I'm not really into numerology excepting for reading John Michells's City of Revelation and New View Over Atlantis which were both extremely interesting. Kabbalistic Numerology is notoriously closely guarded, I think. Also its closely entwined in the religion. I think of Numerology more in terms of cycles - calendars etc. And other recurring patterns in nature. And also how our Base 10 system tends to mask patterns. Ontop of all this is the symbolism which most of us generally aren't aware of. I also wonder how our subconscious looks at numbers. The two books sound very interesting. I must take a look.
but isn't numbers just like words in a sense? You attach whatever symbol or meaning you want to.... to them? Just feel whatever or don't.....right? I am feeling hot, sticky, yucky a little sick and reflective melancholy at the moment..... Maybe I just need to jump into the tub for now.....and shake it out.....
Well numbers, for instance 13, are given special significance in certain cultures. And our subconscious probably gets affected by background information relating to this. For instance, would you want to buy a house number 13? Certain things descibed as "numerology" do revolve around what you say. But I don't personally think thats the real numerology. The real one, IMO is more about cycles in nature, like 0.61, like the calendar and seasons and our own ebb and flow.
As an example, the number 0.61 constantly comes up in nature. Whether its spirals in a galaxy, or leaf lengths, or human body proportions. Likewise in engineering, human performance and financial markets. Crop cycles relate to economic cycles. Which relate to astronomical phenomena. Same patterns and numbers. I used to think it was bullshit, but scientists say that number patterns exist. I think the problem with numerology or whatever it was originally called, is that the real stuff is often hidden behind claptrap that was added later.
Mathematicians have known for a long time that number patterns exist, such as the Fibonacci sequence. This also occurs in nature in the structure of plants, bee ancestry and other places. Many people believe numbers have some occult or magical meaning. I'm not sure about that. I think it can all be very misleading.
Now if you add them together 5+9=14!! And it's 2014 =0 You can tell what year it is by your wake up times. Mind = Fucking BLOWN!
