4/20 with Dark Star!!!

Who will be attending the DSO 4/20 show at the Norva in Norfolk, VA.

Hell yes, I'm there. I'm also going to see Trey 4/26 at the Landmark in Richmond shortly after...

 

Hell yea, they are having a special guest, I am thinking(more hoping than thinking) it will be K-dub! Either way that is gonna be one hell of a show!

 

Or it might be hot buttered rum string band or martin sexton. I am hoping for keller though!!!

 

Haha... I may be going to see Victor Wooten, too. Maybe Martin Sexton. I don't think Keller is playing the day Victor is coming to VA. Wonder if he's going to the concert.

I just hope it's K-Dub. I haven't seen him since December 26th in Fred-Vegas at the benefit concert.

I'm sure there's going to be something in the air DSO night at the NorVa. I don't know if Keller has ever played with them. May see Moby... I may see Bob Weir and Ratdog and possibly BB King. Maybe Leo Kottke at the Birchmere. I missed a lot of concerts last year.

And I was at the SPCA benefit right in the fron of the stage, we held of the sign that said slap that shit you son of a bitch!

HAHAHAHA... omg... I remember that... Damn. I've never been busted at a concert but I did get a beer bottle busted over my straw hat at a Jimmy Buffett concert once after some guy dropped it an aboved level at Greensboro Coliseum in NC. The guy fell down some stairs and was taken out the coliseum by paramedics. Damn drunks.

 

I met DSO's bus driver in Kansas on the way back from the NYE shows with YMSB and KW. I have his Cell# and gonna met up with him at the show.

 

Man... I'd piss my pants if Keller was guest.

But I mean think about it, hell be in VA for about a month around that show. And he always covers the Dead and it would just be a perfect 4/20 gift! I will be dissappointed if it isnt him now, BUt WOOton would be awesome to!

I've never seen Keller play with anyone else or open for anyone else before, so that would be the perfect 4/20 gift. Well... maybe some brownie seasoning on top of it. I've only seen keller three or four times, but he was a guitar shop here in Gloucester before. I'm sure there's going to be a larger crowd this year because of Phish breaking up.

 

Most people are gonna be at the Panic show in Salem. I have seen keller with YMSB and Bela a few times.

 

Yeah, a friend of mine lives near salem, he's going there, but I had the same thing in mind for DSO... possibly with Keller and all. I could have gotten if free for WP since he has an extra ticket, but I'd rather pay and hope Keller will be there.

 

I am with you on that. If Keller comes out, you will now who I am, I will prolly jump on stage and hug him!

 

check out the 7-3-04 show at grateful fest (nelson's ledges). keller plays scarlet > fire > kidney with DSO....besides that it's an awesome show. bob rules > brick > tube loup > brick > bob rules is another highlight

 

Yeah... Keller does my favorite cover of Scarlet Begonias/Scarlet-Fire... I love his version.
