Ok PS3 may be new and have certain cool features, but XBox 360 has all the good games. PS3's only good games are the ones that they stole from 360. Ps3 is almost the same system as xbox, except their games that 360 doesnt have are crappy, not to mention that the ones they steal from xbox are rated lower than the originals on Xbox. Plus Xbox has live which is the best!!
^ lol how ironic is it that ps3 hasnt actually stolen anything. were talking about gta, resident evil, crash bandicoot and many many other series xbox stole. ps3 didnt steal shit. i went to a game store yesterday, ps3 had like 15 games on the shelf, all looked amazing and worth buying, 360 had not far to 70 maybe a 100, only 10 or 15 looked good. 360's only good games are the ones they stole, halo 3 is the only thing they have now, and overhyped fps which gets owned by red faction, killzone, unreal tournament, black, counter strike, half life 2, and pretty much every decent fps out there, only thing, theyre not out for the microwave. 360 being cheap and breaking down all the time should be enough, just cause ms can afford to buy every success franchise created for sony doesnt mean they have great games. a company that sells a ticking breaker, massive ugly shitbox, buys a bunch of games and makes them exclusive and that makes them better? hahaha this is just the beggining, 3months ago people said sony was in a hole, looks like it pulled itself out and almost made 360 fall into it. im guessing what r*is making is the new gtaIII, basicly something really big and what made many people wish for a ps2. at that sony will shit in the mocrowawe and put it on defrost
Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, sell nearly all their consoles at a loss. They make money from the rediculous game prices'. Therefore, the console is determined only by the titles it has.
It's simple economics. A developer is going to distribute a console game on the console that will net them the most money to make up for the cost of development. 360's user base far exceeds the PS3's. Sales indicate that this will probably not be changing anytime soon. Frankly, I don't really care what Sony trots out in a press release to declare that they have "exclusive" rights. At the end of the day, if a company will make more money selling a game on the 360 and paying a relatively small penalty to Sony for "breach" of their "exclusive" deal, then that's exactly what they will do. And based on the relative number of each console out there, I'm not exactly seeing the 360 "ownage" at all.
WHy do you all talk about "stealing?" Microsoft legitimately bought off all of these franchises with the creators signing the contracts. It is all about the money. Personally, I'm all about the games so I don't give a shit what company the system I'm using comes from as long as it has the best games. And right now that company is microsoft, end of story imo.

You're a very angry fella when it comes to Microsoft. For my money, I don't really pay much heed to the publisher so much as the development studio when it comes to customer loyalty. The guys who write the games matter more when it comes to quality than the guys who are pressing the disks.
Nintendo has almost always made a profit from their consoles, now is just the same, they probably make about 30$ dollars a wii, and then the electroins sjhops make money on it as well. 360 will forever win this arguement on the gameplay side of things. You're just blown away by the stylistic touches that PS3 adds to games. Yes, it's a nice box of power and graphics capability, but where are all these amazing games? yea the original ps3 song is good, but not fully correct. killzone didnt suck, when i read the reviews i thought it to just be crap, when i got it- whoa, i played for a month straight just offline. killzone 2 will rock. where the fuck did 4d graphics come from? sony never said that, they just meant community and all
ill never buy a microsoft system unless they start coming out with games other that sports and fps. nintendo has all the classic series that continue to be amazing. zelda, mario, metroid, star fox, etc. sony has square-enix. what else is needed to say? ps3 doesnt have many good games now, but once final fantasy 13 comes out and The Last Remnant (another square enix rpg) comes out, people will realize that they want more than gears of war and halo. what other xbox exclusive games are there that are any decent? give sony some time to make good games. it hasnt even been out for a year
As a gamer, I am proud to say I love all systems. I used to buy only Nintendo systems, but I was missing out on a lot of great games, so that changed. Fuck everyone who says that any of the new systems suck, they just have their head up their asses. It all just depends on the price point, and the games available at the time. Right now I have the Wii and the 360, simply because they both have great games right now. Ps3 on the other hand, has very few games that are worth it. Yes, it is true better games are coming out in the future, but there is NO point spending 650 CDN (not including tax) for a Blu-ray player with a couple of decent exclusive games. The non-exclusive games have (so far) all been better on the 360, so they don't count. Now, as soon as FF: XIII, MGS, and the (hopefully) new Kingdom Hearts game comes out, then I will buy it. None of them suck, just some of them take longer to become great.

The thing of it is, as time goes on, unless PS3 starts really picking up in sales, all the PS3 "exclusive" games are going to migrate to the 360. It's simple numbers. No one wants to spend millions in development and hang their sales on the PS3's distribution numbers, which would be effectively a niche market. As it stands right now, developing for the 360 would offer you a much broader player base to potentially purchase your game. And word on the street is MGS is one of the titles in development that will be making this cross-over to 360. Could Square-Enix be far behind? They've already developed for the PC, and developing for the 360 isn't far off from that from a software programming perspective. I guess time will tell.
^ the word you speak of is xbot fanboy dreams. hideo kojima said on e3 and leipzig mulstiple times, hell even in japan - the 360 is not a compatible system for such a high requirement game, its simply a waste of time and dumbing down a work of art. multiple of my xbox player friends have complained how lame it is and that they would now need to get a ps3 too. exclusives bring out buyers, not migrate, from november to q1 next year sony has so many great games coming out i can easily see that by next year, its sales would either double or triple. every single game on ps3 is kickass and i want, 360 has the same number of great games. tho the problem is ps3 has like 25, same with 360 - but total games for each console, ps3 - approx 25, 360 - over 150. 100& success over 10-15 means alot. i love my ps3, and the home feature is going to be really really kewl
Here's my take: I own a Wii and a PS3 to me the PS3 has absolutely no apeal for gaming I bought it in the first place simply as a media player [mp3's, blu ray, dvd, videos] I've bought 2 controllers and the other isnt even out of the package, only game i'm waiting for currently is NHL08 Wii isnt great either, although i will give it high marks on Twilight Princess alone just cause it is an amazing game. So, even though i dont own a 360, i figured i could hate on systems I do own rightfully, and i gotta say for all around games i'm fairly certain the 360 is way ahead, which i'm fine with, I have too many games already
